The 5 Best 'Shameless' Characters Of All Time
As the title suggests, Shameless is a show all about Chicago residents who are all unapologetically (and shamelessly) themselves. Throughout the show's 11 seasons, we followed the Gallagher family and their supporting characters on the quest to merely survive in the rough South Side of Chicago. While watching the Gallagher family we saw drugs, alcohol, weapons, sexual mishaps, teen pregnancies, infidelity, and just about every kind of criminal behavior you could think of.

Hugh O'conner's life and death mattered
I was recently watching an episode of IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT and when the character Lonnie Jamison appeared on screen I shed a few tears. This handsome young Sparta Georgia police officer was portrayed by Hugh O'Conner the adopted son of series star Carol O'Conner. I enjoyed seeing Jamison and his partners Parker and Sweet each week as they interacted on the show. I thought Hugh to be rather cute with a boyish charm and a decent actor although some might say he only obtained the role because his father was the star of the show.

Nicolas Bechtel began portraying Prince Spencer Stefan Niklosovich Cassadine on the ABC daytime soap opera GENERAL HOSPITAL in 2013 and continued in the role until it was recently recast. On July 2, 2021, Nicholas Alexander Chavez age 21, began portraying the character. Bechtel at 14, was considered too young to take on a darker role of the young prince. Review: "The Stand"
Stephen King has seen a lot of his work adapted to film and television. Some have seen massive success and some have been forgettable. His novels are some of the best, which makes it easy for Hollywood to have a desire to adapt his work as it will already have a built in audience. Having been a fan of King, oftentimes it can be difficult for me watching adaptations as I find myself hoping that it matches my expectations or imagination of said story. The Stand, however, is King's biggest piece of work while also being heralded as one of his best. Paramount's new streaming service biggest original to this date, even six months later, is still The Stand and largely it succeeds in bringing to our screens a modern take on King's work. At times even a bit too dangerously close to home as a big plot point involves a worldwide plague that kills off a vast majority of the human population. Still, writers and producers Josh Boone, Benjamin Cavell, Knate Lee and Jill Killington do an admirable job with the work.
