What is Going on With The Bachelor Australia
It really makes you stop and think. The American and the UK versions might be a different story, yet the Australian version just seems to be mean and drama filled, even though Osher Gunsberg is the right host. The sister show The Bachelorette is fairing a little bit better, and only just. Many of us like the concept, yet there is Netflix and other TV channels vying for our attention; and if they could all talk, they are saying "pick me, pick me."

Books: Movies v TV shows
For a long time (in fact probably most of the 20th Century), books have pretty much constantly been adapted into movies. Book rights held by publishers have traditionally been expensive, and to procure the rights to adapt often costs large amounts of money. They can also be cheap, however TV or film studios usually pay little attention to these. Prices can be from $1000 to $100,000, and anything that has appeared on a New York best seller list will cost you upwards of $50,000. Also, these rights to adapt usually only last for around 12-18 months in most cases, so the window of time after gaining the rights to adapt and complete filming is short before they elapse and return to the publisher. Therefore, it is easy to see how expensive a book adaptation can be, by the time actors, directors, film crew, location bookings, set producers, prop makers costs etc are all factored into the finished article.

10 Underrated The Simpsons Guest Stars
Over 700+ episodes, 'The Simpsons' have called upon guest stars from all walks of life to lend their voice to an episode. More often than not, especially during the show's 'golden era', these guest appearances contributed to some of the best episodes in the show's history. Along with regular guest stars like Albert Brooks, Phil Hartman and Kelsey Grammer, people like Dustin Hoffman, Adam West, and several Major League Baseball players have enshrined themselves in the minds of many a Simpsons fan due to their incredible performances on the show.

No One Has Ever Lowered Television's Bar More Than James T. Aubrey of CBS
Photo by USAG- Humphreys If you were a child of the 70s, you remember that Bucky Dent's good looks and 1978 World Series performance elevated the Yankee shortstop to national sex symbol status. Of course, Hollywood sought to capitalize and cast Dent in The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. An obvious abomination, the TV movie quickly passed into history. But this embarrassing overreach to cash in came from the last hoorah of a man who understood America's insatiable appetite for stupidity. In turn, his dizzying success launched this president of CBS to the pinnacle of network television.

A New Titans
Previously, the dark take on Teen Titans was an exclusive television show to the streaming service known as DC Universe before it was all taken on by HBO Max. On DC Universe the show was largely a mixed bag as it suffered from an identity crisis at times along with some serious issues on the page. The series would lose any traction by frequently going back in time to allow characters to catch up along with the main plot, it would be very jarring most of the time. Beyond that, it clearly wanted to be an ensemble but the focus would almost always be on Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, which is certainly the highlight of the show as his portrayal of the fan favorite is pitch perfect. The show, however, struggled with characters such as Anna Diop's Starfire and Teagan Croft's Raven. At times even it seems as if the writers didn't know what to do with them, and would have been better off simply making a show focused singularly on Dick. So far, in this new season under the HBO Max umbrella, Titans seem to have a much bigger focus on Dick as the show even has moved from San Francisco to Gotham as they are even beginning to adapt the famous comic book storyline, A Death in the Family. It goes without say, but there will be spoilers ahead if you haven't seen the first three episode of the season.

Here's the Thing About Centaurworld and Its Finale
This is it. The review of the final two episode of Centaurworld. Presumably this won't be the end of the series, although no announcement has been made by Netflix regarding the status of a second season. Still, there is plenty to unpack in the two-part finale of this incredible show, and I am chomping at the bit to do just that. Before going any further, I'd like to take this time to point your attention to the first and second articles in this review series in case you haven't read either of those and want to know exactly what it is you're getting into. With all that said, let's finish this walk down the Rainbow Road together to dig into the end of the first season of Centaurworld. Beware of spoilers and excessive crying ahead.
