Nadja Is My Favorite Character From What We Do In The Shadows, And Here Are The Receipts To Prove It
If you haven't yet, please do yourself a favor and watch What We Do In The Shadows on FX and Hulu. For a vampire show, it can be surprisingly relatable at times, and all of the actors are SPECTACULAR.

"Cursed" is a story for the Colonised
Fae legends have frequently been coded as colonised and oppressed peoples. Perhaps the most famous one of our modern age is JKR's portrayal of goblins—small, large nosed, greedy bankers who care nothing for the rest of the world. Anyone with the slightest understanding of Jewish stereotypes understands the allusion. The orcs in Lord of the Rings are an older stereotype of the 'barbaric' Mongols. The folklore of changelings is now attributed to autistic children. In each case, the Fae are to be reviled, a warning of the evils that the Other could do to the Self.

American Horror Story: Red Tide
If you have been watching American Horror Story (FX), you will know this season is called "Red Tide" and is about Vampirism. Is Vampirism real? There are few cases of Vampirism in which they don't bite people but drain their blood into a syringe and pour it into a glass and drink it either as tea or wine. So red wine tastes like blood? Of course, but for American Horror Story, it takes it into another twist.

BJJ Force for Change
HBO recently aired an episode of Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, with a segment called, “Force for Change.” The focus of it was on Brazilian Jiu-jitsu being taught to law enforcement officers, and how it has helped them do their jobs in Marietta, Georgia. Rener Gracie was heavily featured in the piece as well as police officers from the region that has already put their training to the test.

The Great War
Yes, this is yet another article on one of my most favourite programmes “Downton Abbey”. For those of you who have never seen an episode, I thought I’d write about one of the seasons --- Season Two. There are actually six seasons plus one movie (so far!), so I’ve got plenty more articles to write about (sorry folks). The beauty of Downton Abbey is that there are so many little stories all tied up to the main story and there is plenty to keep us interested.

What Loki's Ending Could Mean For The Future Of The MCU
Loki has been one of the shining lights of the Marvel Cinematic Universe TV shows. It is a well-crafted story that centers around what happens to Loki immediately after the events of Endgame in which Loki had stolen the Tesseract again during the Avengers time heist and used it to escape instead of being arrested like he had been at the end of the first Avengers movie, causing him to be picked up and arrested by the TVA.
