Emily in Paris Season 2 and the Fantasy of Being Anxiety-Free
Beware of spoilers. You can read my opinions on season 1 here: When the first season of Netflixās dramedy series āEmily in Parisā got slammed and ridiculed by critics and audiences alike, the show took it the same way its heroine takes anything - with a shrug, a smile, and the deep conviction that any gaffe could be turned into profitable social media exposure. As it turns out, the show (along with Emily) was probably right. No amount of bad press could prevent the second season from happening and⦠well, people are watching it. They may be dubbing it a āguilty pleasureā and scoffing at the vapidness of its heroine, but they are watching. And, as the series teaches us, thatās pretty much the only thing that matters.

Emily In Paris: 5 Of The Most Likable Characters (& 5 Fans Can't Stand)
Netflix recently premiered season 2 of Emily in Paris. Once again, the show attracted many viewers and a lot of criticism. Lily Collins stars as the titular character who moves to Paris from Chicago in season 1. She works for a marketing firm and is supposed to be in France temporarily to offer Savoir an American point of view. Of course, her visit ends up getting prolonged and she remains in Paris long enough for it to become her new home.

General Hospital fans say Phyllis is no Dear Abby
Phyllis Caulfield could become a stereotype General Hospital fans are expressing that they are becoming annoyed at the direction the show is taking in regard to Phyllis Caulfield ( Joyce Guy). Viewers are hoping the ABC soap does not make her a stereotype of always being the listening ear and or the voice of reason for others on the ABC soap but otherwise having no pertinent role.

You
**This is my honest and personal review. This could contain some spoilers for the entire show. I tried to write it in an ambiguous way because I have not read the book that the series is inspired by. If you have any intention of watching You on Netflix, please stop reading and go sit down and watch the damn show as this is just my interpretation of it.**

The Young and the Restless: Rainn and River Ware portray Dominic Chancellor
The Young and the Restless: Trouble is brewing Dominic Philip Newman-Abbott-Chancellor is now being portrayed by twin brothers (Rainn and River Ware). This child has been an enigma on The Young and the Restless for close to a year and it looks like he will remain front and center. His adoptive parents were married on New Year's Eve of 2020 and shortly after found out that neither of them were able to have a child of their own. Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) had scar tissue from falling down the steps after Max Raburn tripped her with a cord.

Baker's Dozen: Comfort Shows in 2021. Top Story - January 2022.
Before I get to work on my 2022 Baker's Dozen lists, I have one more for my 2021! Since my previous list went over my comfort movies in 2021, it only seems fair that I also give attention to my comfort shows of 2021.

How to Create a Cuddly Psycho-killer
My friend and I want to write a crime story for TV. We are both screenwriters. He has mostly written comedies, I've written family dramas, but we both love the crime genre. We have been talking about a variety of existing villains and protagonists, including the obvious ones from shows like Breaking Bad and Ozark.
