'Super Sentai' 2019 Exceeds Expectations with 'Kishiryū Sentai Ryūsoulger!'
While Power Rangers is celebrating over 25 years on air, the show that inspired it has left it behind in terms of longevity. Super Sentai has been airing for over four decades, which is pretty insane when you consider it is a franchise that creates a new show with each passing year. The 43rd instalment, set to begin airing February 2019, has finally been revealed. Kishiryū Sentai Ryūsoulger translates to Knight Dragon Squadron Ryuusouger and is going to be the first Super Sentai series to use knights and dragons as the heroes theme.

Killing DC Heroes. Top Story - December 2018.
For years people have given the "I don't want to kill people" hero mentality a lot of flack in DC comics, considering it's a type practically pioneered by Batman. It's always used in comparison to Marvel, showing how DC supers are more morally grey, or they’re cowards, etc. I think the issue is really the type of villains they face, and how that influences their stance on ever killing someone.

What Comic Books Mean
These days, it seems like everyone loves a good superhero movie. To say that we like Ironman or Batman or Green Arrow seems easy enough now. Going back 20 years, perceptions change. Fans of the live adaptations seem like they are more popular than the source material—the comic books.

Could Arrowverse Be Heading for a True New 52?
DC has created quite a strong arrangement of shows for fans to enjoy, but the Arrowverse is particularly popular right now. With Arrow, The Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl, there has now been plenty of superheroes and villains added to the rosters to make a universe as strong as the MCU. It is set to get even bigger next year with the upcoming Batwoman show with Ruby Rose portraying Gotham's masked vigilante. But, are things about to get interesting at the end of next years massive crossover event?

Marvel Superheroes Who Deserve Their Own Movie Franchises
So far they've only announced sequels for Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, and possibly the Hulk. They've also hinted at doing an Inhumans film, along with another Guardians of the Galaxy film and a sequel for Doctor Strange. Not wanting to seem like I have no opinion (I do, trust me), here are some of my picks for heroes who need their own film franchises. It should be noted, these are characters I think could hold their own films, not just be guest characters, which I've written about before. Some heroes, while cool, just can't do their own solo franchises. But that's why the good Lord invented the superhero team up.

More Than the Muscle
Who doesn't find catharsis in watching power creatures exhibit their power? Comic book superheroes have illustrated how much people of all ages love to see strength exemplified. Arguably among the most popular examples is that of the Incredible, the Indestructible, the Big Mean and Big Green, Hulk. Now there's a plethora of Hulk characters. The first was so inspiring to generate a big cast of related heroes and villains. Focusing on the main Hulk, AKA Dr. Bruce Banner, it's a large simplification that he's had quite the long history.

An MCU Fan's Critique of the 'Avengers: Endgame' Trailer
We waited for what seemed like ages for this trailer. Between threats made on the producers (like... really?) and my own overactive hype, it came, it went, and it left only a few questions partially answered. That said, I want to share my thoughts on the MCU's biggest film to date. Let's delve into what will be the biggest movie of the new year—based purely on the trailer.
