Squirrel Girl vs Batman
So this article might just be to piss off Batman fanboys but I am also unequivocally correct. This is something I’ve been saying for years but I feel like it's important to actually back up my claims. So here we are, why Squirrel girl and Batman are the same. They are the same character, they are equally ridiculous and the victories they possess make no sense whatsoever. And as an added bonus why Squirrel Girl would beat Batman.

The Token Woman
In a world with an incredible amount of superhero movies and action movies there are many badass, heroic men. More impressively there are exactly 25% as many token women. The Token Woman trope is an extensive, and consistent one. Who knows where it started? We don’t know but we do know that the trope is bullshit so of course I have opinions about it.

My Pitch For Shang-Chi 3's Villain (and Shang-Chi 3)
In the original comics, Zheng Bao Yu, also known as Fah Lo Suee, is the immortal half-sister of Shang Chi, the daughter of Fu Manchu, and the head of her own criminal organization, the Oriental Expenditors, who were a front for the Golden Daggers sect. Under the moniker "Cursed Lotus," she ruled over a narcotics empire that supplied a highly addictive drug known as "Wild Tiger." She's vicious, duplicitous, gaslighting girl boss and honestly, she's still one of my favorite Marvel characters.

Thor
We are rounding out the comic recommendations for the big 3. We’ve done Captain America and Iron Man so here we are with Thor. Thor is possibly the hardest character to do MCU based comic recs for because his storylines are quite possibly the furthest from their comic book counterparts so some of these might be a little bit of a stretch so bear with me, but more so blame the MCU. Fans that are upset with Thor’s portrayal on screen actually aren’t wrong, I like that Thor’s portrayal is very different from his comic book counterpart but I understand why comic fans would not like the changes.

Super Mario Bros. Movie Review
Mario gearing up for action in The Super Mario Bros. Movie For all of Chris Pratt's hype about his Mario voice, though, it's merely serviceable. The movie jokes about Charles Martinet's original problematic accent (Martinet also voices two characters in the film), but Pratt's spin on it just feels like someone pretending to be a schlubby Brooklynite. That's particularly surprising since Pratt injected so much life into his Lego Movie lead.
