Pop Wars
The Pop Wars were an embarrassing time in social media history. Every style of pop culture took it upon themselves to prove who was the trendiest. From minor fads to the dominant idols of America, the internet had become a bloody landscape of overly competitive communication. New modes of interrelations between people were being lost in the reposts and reactions numbing the sophistication of human interaction. Anybody paying attention to the true contributions of these movements were less impressed and more concerned with the direction it was taking society. It was getting nasty because the toxic atmosphere of people joking about anything using popular ideas fostered an attitude of anonymous quarrels. Screen names symbolized their preference of trope. The judgment came down hard on any who failed to consistently live up to their clever pseudonym which became their identity more than their real persona. This was a major point of contention.

The power of goodbyes
I had several *funnier* tweets to share and I do try to keep my insta mostly lighthearted because I ~*hate sharing my emotions~* but this was something that hit me unexpectedly hard. I’m about to go @kevinflynnnnnnnnnnnnnn on you hoes with this long ass caption but whatevs. When my mom died suddenly and completely unexpectedly it changed my life, obviously. But I had someone I know lose their mom not too long after, in a battle with cancer. They

Social Media & It's Trends
While creating my TikTok, I had no idea, that I would become so "addicted" to it. I create my own videos, of course and try to follow the latest trends, while growing my account for more views and followers. Sometimes, I can't keep up. Sometimes, I don't feel confident enough to do specific trends. I mean, honestly, I'm a new mom, I'm overweight and I am not well coordinated. I give props to new content creators; It may seem easy, until you are like moi, and give it a shot, then say "Eh, maybe not today."

If You Laugh, You Lose! And I Bet You, Will!
"MAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCC!", that is the sound that the Youtuber known as MacDoesIt makes as an introduction to each of his videos. I myself do not know why he chose to 'jumpscare' us as an intro but at least it's an attention grabber.

Saying Good-Bye to Jenna Marbles
Many years ago, back when I was still in High School, I found myself getting involved in the YouTube community that I heard a few friends talking about. Before this I hadn't really paid much attention to it, only using it to watch music videos from my favourite bands. It was during this first foray into the mad and hilarious world of cat videos and people attempting to play video games, that I came across a hilarious woman from America, Jenna Marbles.
