Madea Gets Political As The White House Communications Director On Fallon
Tyler Perry's Madea brought her hilarity to the stage in the 1999 play I Can Do Bad All By Myself. She followed that with a string of successful movies that came full circle when she took the podium as the new White House Communications Director on The Tonight Show. Tall, loud, and rude, Madea didn't pull any punches when she said she was Donald Trump's new Communications Director because "all the other sorry asses got fired."

SNL Skit Features Adam Driver in Undercover Boss Spoof
A little late to the party could be said on this review but still needs to be written. Saturday Night Live featured a skit starring Adam Driver, reprising his role as Kylo Ren from Star Wars Episode VII, but in a spoof of hit show, Undercover Boss. Kylo Ren goes undercover on his spaceship as Radar Technician, Matt. The skit goes on to showcase Matt as an average employee, working for Kylo Ren, trying to find out what his subordinates think of him. Adam Driver goes on to bond with one of his employees, have lunch with several of them, and gets to see what it's like to be on the low end of the heirarchy in The First Order. Radar Technician, Matt is exactly what you'd expect from an intense character like Kylo Ren. Matt seems a bit unstable in some of his interactions with his employees. The character of Kylo Ren has been acknowledged to be a completely serious person at all times but Adam Driver's comedic talents come into light even in this role. Adam Driver's found a way to make even a dark horse figure like Kylo Ren seem likable and funny in this SNL skit. Some of the more recent Saturday Night Live skits have been criticized for not being up to par with some of the more classic moments but this is definitely one for the books. The only problem with this skit is that it only goes on for so long. I could definitely see an entire episode being crafted around Kylo Ren playing radar technician, Matt, going around his base, talking to more of his First Order "employees", getting into all kinds of outrageous antics due to his manic personality. Out of all the SNL skits I've seen, this one is definitely one of the top modern skits put together featuring a well-known celebrity.

It's just human nature. We have the deeply ingrained desire to place ourselves next to our favorite characters in their stories, imagine the conversations we'd have, the adventures we'd go on... and sometimes, if we'd win in a fight. We like to think we could go head-to-head with our favorite (or maybe most hated?) heroes and villains, and fandom has been exploring these possibilities since the dawn of... the internet, anyway. (But go back millennia. You know there was some guy who was like "I could totally take Hercules in a fight!" and wrote an epic poem or two. We never really change.)

How To Build a Made-for-TV Christmas Love Movie
It's November. Time for people who are annoyingly into Christmas to never shut up about all things Christmas. If you, your aunt, or your grandma have a cable subscription this also means an onslaught of hastily made Christmas Love Movies. Especially on a certain channel that starts with an H and ends with an Allmark. If you watch enough of them, you'll notice that these "films" follow a specific formula that I'm convinced anyone could follow and create a story consistent with the canon.

Show Review: Rick & Morty
The theme of the show is sci-fi/comedy set in the 21st century. Rick, the guy who looks like drunk Einstein, is so smart he has passed modern technology leaving normal people behind but keeping Morty with him as his sidekick. This is shown in the first 30 seconds. It is common to say Rick & Morty is like Back To The Future although there are only a few major similarities.

The duo's main goal is to hook up with attractive females at the reception, a feat that they somehow always manage to accomplish.
