'Where The Wild Things Are' (2009) Review
Directed by Spike Jonze Starring Max Records, Catherine O’Hara, Forest Whitaker, James Gandolfini, Paul Dano Rating 7/10 Sitting down to watch a movie which was based on a kid's story book, I expected a heartwarming tale of self-discovery and an insight into the complicated and creative mind of a child. However, Where The Wild Things Are is so much more.

'The End of the F***ing World'
WARNING!: SPOILERS FOR THE END OF THE F***ING WORLD AHEAD!" When it's really cold out, I tend to never leave my house. When I never leave my house, I get bored pretty quickly. So, while browsing on my phone for a bit, I found an advertisement for a show on Netflix called The End of the F***ing World. No joke, that's actually the title. I was pretty intrigued, mostly because the advertisements looked pretty funny.

'American Assassin:' Movie Review
This movie starts off so celebratory, for Dylan O'Brien's character just gets engaged. Then, a terrorist group comes up the beach and starts firing on all the tourists, killing O'Brien's fiancé. His character's name is Mitch Rapp, and this is a movie based off the series 'The Mitch Rapp Series' written by Vince Flynn. It gives off a real Jason Bourne kind of vibe and makes you want to get in shape to learn to fight. It's not the same as Jason Bourne, so if you're expecting that, you will be disappointed. But if you're interested in an assassin/spy movie, this is your fix.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Review
*Warning: Spoilers In these days of remakes, reboots and sequels, it is very rare to come across a film that preserves the essence of the original while standing out on its own. However, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle does so and with flourish. I was a little skeptical of it holding up against the original masterpiece starring Robin Williams, but it certainly is a good homage to the legendary character's legacy. Now on to the review:

Movie Review: 'Sheikh Jackson'
Sheikh Jackson is a rare and wonderful movie. This Egyptian production directed by Amr Salama and co-written by Salama and Omar Khaled, tells the unique and touching story of a Muslim cleric who has a crisis of faith related to the death of Michael Jackson. The story is about a man confronting his faith, his past, his family and his very self and each step of the way, this measured and thoughtful drama rarely misses a beat.

Oscar Watch: 'Downsizing'
Downsizing is a film where the script and the performances could never beat the concept. There is only about two hours of time to tell a story in a movie but Downsizing makes you want talk about the concept being reality. I wanted to hear more about the economic aspect and the social aspect of creating a community of rich people.
