'American Pie 2' - Review
Comedy sequels are tough to make. Most of the time, they are simply the same film re-done with a few tweaks and worst of all, they fail to capture the magic of the first film and they fail to make you laugh. And while not as good as the first film, I can safely say that American Pie 2 is a is a fun time.

Why 'Strange Magic' Is Such an Underrated Film
At first glance, Strange Magic is your everyday starcrossed lovers trope. Two opposing groups coming together because of two people. It’s much more than that. It’s more like a beauty and the beast type story, without the Stockholm syndrome. The story is fun, the characters are relatable and it uses a variety of songs in a really engaging way.

'The Equalizer'—Review
At first glance, this movie screams mediocrity. The plot of an ex-CIA member, coming out of retirement to take on the Russian Mafia in Boston could have easily been a budget action movie that came out in January and it could have been mindless entertainment. However, put some talent behind and in front of the camera, and you have yourself The Equalizer, a movie that is surprisingly really well done.

REVIEW: 'Iron Fist' Season 2
Iron Fist Season 2 is an improvement on Season 1, but that doesn't mean it's very good. The differences in tone between the seasons is welcome because it mixes things up and doesn't feel rehashed like other follow up seasons have for MCU Netflix shows. Danny Rand might be the weakest link but Colleen Wing also has corny lines and their dialogue together borders on atrocious. Finn Jones doesn't deserve all the blame. The highlight of the season is the villain, Davos, who essentially is an unlikeable Punisher. Iron Fist Season 1 improved with the last few episodes and Danny Rand character was far less annoying in Defenders those improvements are built upon in Season 2.

'Before We're Gone'
Robert Massimi. Before We're Gone at the 13th St. Repertory is a very productive play in that it gives the audience so much inside an hour and forty minutes. Its plot is about a very successful woman, Kathleen Maguire (Leenya Rideout). she is an actress, writer, award winner in her craft, and an activist. Her life was fast and loose, she is married and yet had many lovers. The person most influential in her life was Myron Glaser (Jay Russell), who played many different parts in this play. Russell played a priest, Richard's father, Kathleen's agent, a Fr. Cyprian, and Mark. Myron, she contends, would never lie and take a bullet for her.

The Acoustics in My Head Are Really Lovely
This delightful and deftly-written new digital series offers a comedic glimpse into the occult in which the talents of Janet Varney, the show's creator, co-writer (with freelance writer and editor Brandon R. Reynolds), and producer, are on full display. In Fortune Rookie, Varney portrays an alternate-universe version of herself: a somewhat self-obsessed and insensitive but ultimately well-meaning actress who abandons her career to become a fortune teller.

'Clueless' - Review
Here is a situation where I can almost guarantee you've been in before. Imagine this, you are hanging out with one of your friends and they bring up one of their favorite movies which you have never seen before. The classic, "What?! You've never seen that!" response comes next and sometimes it's followed up by the "Okay, we're watching this right now!" phrase. A couple of years ago, this situation happened to me. A friend and I were having a Disney movie night full of classics like The Lion King, A Goofy Movie and...Clueless?
