Uncle Buck - A Movie Review
Better mark the date. Uncle Buck is coming. Showing up for a visit in 1989, Uncle Buck is about an uncle who is unexpectedly called to look after his nieces and nephew. Polite and kind, Buck is not the most pleasant man. A series of adventures occur as Buck babysits the kids.

Ocean's Eleven, But Make It Spanish
Picture this: It's 2001, "Ocean's Eleven" has just been released and everybody is talking about it. You've got Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Matt Damon all in one film so the female demographic is bound to swoon. You've got Julia Roberts for the guys. Add in Don Cheadle and his terrible British accent and the fact that the plot centres around a $150 million money heist from three casinos, and bon appetit!

Netflix Ruined Winx Club for Me and I'm Not Over It
So before we begin I feel like I should explain a little bit about me, I grew up watching the original Winx Club cartoon on Nickelodeon and I was obsessed with it. In fact when Netflix announced they were making a live action Winx Club I rewatched the first three seasons of the cartoon (in my opinion season 3 of the cartoon is the best because of the Enchantix transformation). What I found surprised me, I actually really enjoyed rewatching the old episodes and thought they held up pretty well (though it could have been an element of nostalgia clouding my judgement).

We Need to Talk About Riverdale
I love watching trash tv. Not reality tv but fictional overwrought, dramatic garbage. It's an indulgence for me or maybe nostalgia that I enjoy teen dramas specifically. I don't watch a lot of new teen dramas, mostly I rewatch Buffy or Dawson's Creek for that but four years ago Riverdale premiered and it piqued my interest just enough to watch and, at first, it was actually pretty good. It was this weird mix of nostalgic teen show and weird Twin Peaks mystery. Sure it was over the top, sure there were bizarre moments that never get explained but it was a fun, campy mystery with a nostalgic twist and I was there for it.

Review of ‘God Storm’
Everything has a price. In the kingdom of Axaria, a darkness has fallen. After defeating the evil mother who summoned an immortal demon to kill her, newly coronated Queen Asterin Faelenhart should have every reason to celebrate. Her kingdom is safe, forbidden magic eradicated, and her friends are alive. Except Asterin's triumph has come at a devastating cost--forced to choose between a lifelong friend and true love, she's lost both. But the shadows in Axaria have begun to stir once again, and no one is more starved for vengeance than Asterin ... Yet it soon becomes clear that the shadows plaguing her kingdom are just the beginning. Another realm coexists with the mortal world--the beautiful, nightmarish Immortal Realm ruled by the wicked God of Shadow, King Eoin. When their paths entwine, Asterin realizes that Eoin possesses exactly what--and who--she seeks most. And the fates of all those that she holds dear--Orion, her missing Guardian; Luna, the friend she could not save; Harry, the demon who saved them all; and Quinlan, her beloved broken prince--ultimately rest in the god's hands. But in a world of magic, not everyone is always as they seem. When shocking discoveries threaten everything and everyone that Asterin has sworn her life to protect, she won't be the only person forced to make a choice ... a choice that will change the mortal world forever. And maybe even destroy it.
