100-Word Movie Reviews
The Running Man (2025), Director: Edgar Wright The Running Man is an action-packed comedy. It stars Glen Powell as Ben Richards, who I hope merits more starring roles because he is a talented actor. Only, his performance doesn’t save the film, which is an ongoing rollercoaster of repetitive jokes. The signature quick-cut humor and satirical tone of Edgar Wright are present, but he rushes through the social commentary. The action sequences last too long. The fight-in-a-towel scene made me laugh. Apparently, Powell had to film this in cold weather. Michael Cera is the funniest supporting cast member with Powell. I always like a Stephen King movie adaptation.

Ten Years Later: Making My Truce with the Star Wars Sequels
Despite having written endlessly on this page about all things Star Wars, I’ve never really felt compelled to dive into the sequel trilogy. Not because I consider them an abomination that should be scrubbed from the annals of history, nor because I harbor some burning hatred for them. It’s simpler than that. I watched them when they came out, felt they didn’t come together into the kind of experience I expect from the Star Wars universe, and quietly moved on. There was never this urge to vent or dissect them.

What I Learned Studying the Top Mobile App Development Developers for 2026
I didn’t plan on studying mobile development firms in depth. I only wanted a clear path toward finding a partner for a social-based product I had been thinking about. Yet the deeper I looked, the more I noticed patterns that went far beyond portfolios or polished case studies. Most companies talk about technology, but the real story shows up only when you look at how they build, communicate and support long-term work.

The Endearingly Terrible Legacy of Troll 2
There are bad movies, there are so-bad-they’re-good movies, and then there is Troll 2—a film so bizarre, so baffling, and so unapologetically inept that it has transcended its own reputation. What began as a low-budget horror film with no trolls, no connection to the first Troll movie, and a cast of non-actors has evolved into one of the most celebrated cult classics of all time. Few films have failed with such spectacular magnificence, and fewer still have been embraced so lovingly in their failure.

Stranger Things Season 5, Chapter 5: A Turning Point at the Edge of the World
Few series have gripped global audiences the way Stranger Things has. Over its run, the show has danced masterfully between horror, nostalgia, and heart, weaving together supernatural battles and deeply human stories. As fans await the long-anticipated fifth and final season, speculation is reaching a boiling point—especially around its mid-season turning point: Chapter 5. Historically, Chapter 5 episodes in the series have served as narrative fulcrums, pivoting the story toward its climax with explosive twists and emotional revelations. Season 5 promises to follow that tradition with even higher stakes.

The countdown to the endgame of Stranger Things has never felt heavier. With Season 5 confirmed as the final chapter in the saga—and Volume 2 set to conclude nearly a decade of storytelling—anticipation is at an all-time peak. The Duffers have promised a season that is “cinematic in scope,” emotionally devastating, and deeply connected to the show’s earliest mysteries. Stranger Things Season 5, Chapter 3: The Calm Before the Cataclysm
If the first two chapters of Stranger Things Season 5 set the stage for a final showdown, Chapter 3 feels like the moment the lights dim, the audience hushes, and every character realizes there’s no turning back. It’s a chapter full of restrained anxiety—quiet moments that thrum with the awareness that Hawkins is no longer just a battleground, but a ticking clock. In many ways, Chapter 3 becomes the emotional hinge on which the final season swings.
