‘The Card Counter’ Review—Fascinatingly Remarkable
Sometimes, it’s easy to pinpoint what makes a movie great, whether it’s the excellent performances or the riveting dialogue. But other times, it’s not easy at all, and that happens with films like The Card Counter, a crime drama written and directed by Paul Schrader, who has previously directed First Reformed and wrote the screenplay for Taxi Driver.

My Review of "Vacation Friends"
Vacation Friends is one of the bigger straight to streaming movies that came out recently in 2021. The premise seems very familiar but with a different set of actors to charm us. I wasn't sure how this movie was going to go because it was a straight to stream movie but I've been impressed from time to time. Why not give it a shot.

“Love” The Series About The Fear To Actually Fall in Love
What does loving someone means? We all have an idea of what being in love means, right? A couple kissing, maybe holding hands, there are a thousand images that can come to our minds, but what is behind our idea of love? What do we do really when we are in love?

My Review of "All My Life"
All My Life is a romance movie based on a true story. It was released back in 2020 but the events happened around 2015 so everything is relatively recent. I think a lot of people will be enticed to watched this based on the charisma of the actors in this movie but the movie hopes you stay there for the story.

‘Together’ Review—Captivating and Timely. Top Story - September 2021.
Bleecker Street’s latest film is, remarkably, not a prequel to their early 2021 film, Together Together. This movie’s title leaves out the word redundancy, leaving us with Together, a comedy-drama from writer Dennis Kelly and director Stephen Daldry.

‘Cinderella’ Review—Progressively Charming
When we talk about Hollywood recycling ideas, we think of the endless sequels and films that are shamelessly derivative of superior works. But one story that Hollywood will never stop retelling is the story of a mistreated stepdaughter who becomes a princess.

'He's All That' Movie Review
That's right, this movie is actually getting a generally positive review from someone, and that someone is me. I'll be honest. This is my first time writing a movie review, but I hope to write many more in the future, and seeing as how literally everything has been depressing enough lately, I'd like to jump into this world of reviewing with something a little more glass half full.

My Review of "Death Note"
Death Note is a Japanese Anime that came out back in 2006. I've heard rumblings about this TV show for quite some time. Unfortunately at the time I was kind of getting out of the Anime phase of my life so the series never really caught my eye. After generations of friends coming at me about this series I finally decided to dive into it because it because it's available on Netflix.

Everyone is right, and Everyone is wrong - A review of "Lullaby" by Chuck Palahniuk
I didn't know what to expect when I picked up Lullaby. With so many events going on right now, and the polarizing environment of social media, I needed a break from all that. I wanted something relaxed, chill, maybe romantic. Well, this book is certainly romantic, but probably not the most relaxing. And despite my want to escape and ease my worries on our current political landscape, Lullaby provides an interesting response to current affairs, a message that can vary depending on your lifestyle and view of the world.

4 Ways The Joker's Story Is Better In The 'Suicide Squad' Official Novel
It's been 5 years since the release of David Ayer's Suicide Squad. Crazy to think, but since then we've seen the DC Extended Universe crumble into oblivion, Harley Quinn go on her own, and Task Force X rebooted with James Gunn at the helm. We all had high hopes for Suicide Squad, and a lot of those hopes went unfulfilled with Jared Leto's version of the Joker.
