My Review of "DC League of Super-Pets"
DC League of Super-Pets is a weird cartoon to have come out in 2022. We have already received a great animated feature very similar to this movie called The Bad Guys not too long ago. Maybe it's that movie that was freshly in my mind that made me not appreciate this movie as much as I should have.

My Review of "Black Adam"
Black Adam is DC's latest movie into the DCEU in 2022. We haven't really seen much from DC for quite a while with the exception of the spectacular The Suicide Squad and Zack Snyder's Justice League. Both movies came out early last year. I had high hopes for DC again, even though Zack Snyder's Justice League is not really part of the main storyline anymore.

My Review of "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets"
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets came out back in 2017. It was touted as the next Fifth Element. There are a ton of Fifth Element fans out there and I was one of them. What some of us don't remember was how cheesy some of the Fifth Element was back in the day. This movie has a bit of that cheese in there but now I'm grown up so the nostalgia factor doesn't come into play.

Wedding Season
This movie was such a fun watch. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Had me laughing almost through the entire movie. Yeah, I know, some reviews say it's just an Indian adaptation of regular Hollywood romcoms but come on guys -It's romcom!! It kind of reminded me of the 'Social season' in Bridgerton. I really loved the laughs, gaffs, parents' schemes and 'blackmail', negotiations and of course the dance sequences and weddings, weddings, weddings. Suraj Sharma and Pallavi Sharda make a great onscreen couple as Ravi and Asha, the main leads. Although this is primarily a rom-com, it does highlight important themes and real-life lessons.

Black Adam Review
Dwayne The Rock Johnson has been tapped to play Black Adam since 2007. Now the world can finally see what he has been working on. Black Adam is supposed to be the next big thing for the DCEU and bridge the gap that the universe has been lacking up until this point.

Review of 'Cackle'
All her life, Annie has played it nice and safe. After being unceremoniously dumped by her longtime boyfriend, Annie seeks a fresh start. She accepts a teaching position that moves her from Manhattan to a small village upstate. She’s stunned by how perfect and picturesque the town is. The people are all friendly and warm. Her new apartment is dreamy too, minus the oddly persistent spider infestation. Then Annie meets Sophie. Beautiful, charming, magnetic Sophie, who takes a special interest in Annie, who wants to be her friend. More importantly, she wants Annie to stop apologizing and start living for herself. That’s how Sophie lives. Annie can’t help but gravitate toward the self-possessed Sophie, wanting to spend more and more time with her, despite the fact that the rest of the townsfolk seem…a little afraid of her. And like, okay. There are some things. Sophie’s appearance is uncanny and ageless, her mansion in the middle of the woods feels a little unearthly, and she does seem to wield a certain power…but she couldn’t be…could she?

Bay of Blood (1971) film review
Caution this contains spoilers. The horror delight of the week is A Bay of Blood (1971) directed by Mario Bava, also known as Blood Bath, or Carnage, Twitch of the Death Nerve; it stars Claudine Auger, Luigi Pistilli and Claudio Volonte. Far before the release of his own feature films (he would go on to release 24), Mario Bava worked as a screenwriter, cinematographer, and special effects artist for years. Known as the 'Master of Italian Horror', and 'The Master of Macabre', his giallo thrillers, stylishly violent, have had a large impact on the slashers that we acclaim today.

Picking up fifteen years after the events of the previous movie, best friends Dante Hicks (O'Halloran) and Randal Graves (Anderson) now own and run the Quick Stop convenience store. After Randal suffers a heart attack, he decides to make a movie about his life working as a clerk, featuring Dante, fellow co-worker Elias Grover (Trevor Fehrman), his friend Blockchain Coltrane (Austin Zajur), and local drug dealers-turned-dispensary owners Jay and Silent Bob (Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith).
