My Review of "Get Smart (2008)"
Get Smart (2008) is movie based on a 1960's sitcom TV show. I was a fan of the TV sitcom because it used to play on reruns when I was younger. The funny double entendre dialogue, the idiotic but charming lead and the hilarious situations they get themselves into had me hooked. I love any movie that can make an idiot look like a genius to their enemies. This has a certain pink panther-eques style to it. It never gets to those levels but it is still very fun.

My Review of "Chocolate (2008)"
Chocolate (2008) is a Thai martial arts movie that I don't think a lot of people know about. It's pretty low budget but I can tell they put a lot of love, blood and sweat making this movie. This can start off a little bit slow though.

My Review of "Transformers (2007)"
Transformers (2007) was an unexpected movie to say the least. Back when it first came out I never thought they'd actually release a live action version of the Transformers. Yet in 2007 they actually did the impossible. Many of us that grew up with the franchise in the 80s were kind of mortified by the live action adaptation because of all the changes that they made.

All Is Quiet In the Cosmos by emerson
All is Quiet in The Cosmos is a Space Opera written by emerson. This is a debut novel. It follows two couples through their trials and adventures in war-torn space. Altair is a once loved prince who was exiled to a planet by his father after receiving a devastating curse. He is unable to speak without dire consequences to those around him. So, he has lived in silence for most of his life, surviving on a planet that is barely inhabitable. He is a sensitive and kind soul with a steel core. Lilith is the human woman who kidnaps Altair from the planet where he has been exiled for bounty. Altair’s voice does not affect her because she is deaf due to a previous injury. This book also follows Zen who is forced into the life of a soldier. He is viewed as weak because he is not interested in fighting but in actuality, he is strong and brave especially when it comes to the mysterious Vesunian prisoner, Varys, who he has been tasked to give meals to. Varys has his own secrets.

Best TV Shows of All Time
Okay now that we’ve gone through my list of greatest movies of all time, I think we should also go through my list of greatest TV shows of all time. Now this list is a lot shorter because I think most shows start off really good and then get weird when they are on too long due to network standards. That said everything on this list is solid all the way through its run. For some bonus shows I will be including things that are just extremely rewatchable even though the quality might not be the best.

TIFF 2023 Reviews – Short Films Round-Up
Short films can be some of the most insightful and evocative forms of cinema, and yet they’re often the hardest to come by. I was sent a few screeners of short films that were screening at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival. They were a spectacular collection of stories, and I’m glad I had the opportunity to watch them.
