Lanthimos’ Misguided Missile: ‘Poor Things’ Review. Content Warning.
Rating: C- When saying that the film Poor Things is flawed is like saying that the late Queen Elizabeth II was ugly. In life, she was no looker. The opposite actually can be said about the movie. It’s sumptuous. The fish eye lense, the zooms, close-ups, Victorian costumes and steampunk machines and expressive colors shine through.

My Review of "Self Reliance"
Self Reliance is a straight to streaming comedy that came out in the beginning of 2024. When I first heard of the premise of the show I thought it was so wacky that it might just work. Unfortunately it has a lot of hiccups but it did show a ton of promise. They never reach the heights that I wanted them to go to. Maybe there was just too much in this movie that they should have just kept the focus a little tighter.
