5 Children/Grandchildren Of 'Doctor Who' Actors Who Have Also Pursued An Acting Career
The upcoming sixth episode of HBO's Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon will begin with a time jump ten years into the future. The time jump necessitates the recasting of multiple major characters. One of the characters set to be recast is Prince Aegon Targaryen. Previously seen as a toddler, the teenage Aegon will be portrayed by Ty Tennant.

My father had an enormous hardcover book that featured an impressive collection of his art throughout his career. I found it fascinating – the vivid colors, the brush strokes, the people – all of it was like nothing I had seen before. There are a few paintings I’ve never forgotten over the years–Skull of a Skeleton with Burning Cigarette, Sunflowers, Starry Night Over the Rhône, The Night Café, and his self-portraits.

House of the Dragon
Two episodes ago I ranted because the men in the writers room once again proved that men can not write women without assaulting them, breaking them down and claiming “historical accuracy”. Last episode the women took the power back both in fiction and behind the screen. The women-written episode was a testament to what empowerment actually looks like for women. I went into tonight's episode knowing that there were both men and women in the writers room and behind the camera. Let's see how (and if) that changes the outcome of the show.

Don't Worry Darling
Lots of rumors, controversy and drama surrounded this film's production and its release. I’m willing to bet that the audiences that saw this film on opening weekend were a 50/50 split between Harry stans and people who were morbidly curious after reading all of the headlines surrounding this film. I was on the morbidly curious side, I went into this film hearing about its production but nothing about the actual film. I really didn’t know what it was about, only that it was a psychological thriller that was getting mixed reviews. So I went to the theater with low expectations, ready to see the dumpster fire.

Pearl
So I went to see Pearl this last weekend with no context other than seeing a poster. I had absolutely no idea what this movie was about, not even the genre. Lately I have discovered that going into films with no expectations yields better results and more enjoyment in my movie going experience, and that was the exact result with Pearl. Pearl is a funny, brilliant, fascinating film that would also make the perfect addition to anyone’s Halloween movie list.

The top five strange reality shows I remember from the 2000s
During the 2000s reality TV was one of the most popular new forms of entertainment and it still remains popular to this day. However, after the huge success of shows such as survivor and American Idol it seemed like every network was trying their hardest to strike reality TV gold. Some of their attempts at creating a popular long running show were very successful and other shows had a good run but are no longer on the air and some shows well…. end up on lists like this one. It has been a long time since the shows on this list were on TV and for the most part they have been forgotten. That being said I believe these shows need to be remembered for the interesting contribution they made to the world of reality TV. I made a list of the five strangest shows that I remember seeing from that decade but I’m sure that there were many more that I do not remember. Without any more introduction here five very strange reality shows that acutely made it on TV in the 2000s.

The decision to invade the Middle Eastern country, the worldwide anti-war protests and the invasion that followed would dominate news and television for the bulk of the year in one miserable slog that would only worsen as the decade progressed.

Review: "Top Gun Maverick"
Top Gun Maverick by all logic is a film that should not work, but just as the action at times defies logic, the film is just a blast to watch. At times it feels as if Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt had been displaced from his Mission Impossible films and planted here in aviation school amongst the best of the best of their kind. Especially when watching the opening scene of Pete Mitchell “Maverick” taking a plane and making it exceed the fastest velocity a human has ever taken a plane. The way that his co-workers look up in awe at computer screens and declare Maverick to be the fastest man alive feels a bit absurd and self-congratulatory of the action maniac that is Cruise, despite these moments of absurdity, the film is likable, full of heart and just fun.
