Best of Buffy
We have been talking about Buffy the Vampire Slayer and taking it season by season discussing the best episodes, moments and structural parts of the show. We have already done the first two seasons and as such we are moving onto season 3 of my beloved Buffy the Vampire Slayer. We are talking about the best of Buffy. Season 3 does a lot in the way of writing and character development and story progression. Our big bad carries the nuance that season 2 brought to us. And we get a different kind of emotional pull from season 3 then we’ve previously experienced in the run of this show.

The Best of Buffy
Okay so we are going through every season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and pinpointing the best parts of it. By both picking out the best episodes and the best moments. Something Buffy is really good at is having a monster of the week format while also contributing to the overall big bad of the season. Season 2 is our first “full” season. Season one was much shorter due to it being a pilot season, this means it either premiered in the middle of a network’s normal season OR the network wouldn’t greenlight more episodes until they saw the ratings. Season 2 was its first renewal, thus we get a normal amount of episodes.

Best of Buffy
We are off to college! Buffy and the scooby gang have graduated and they are off to bigger and better things, well some of them are. As we are going through, the Best of Buffy season 4 will not rank on most people’s lists. It is often a very mocked season and I am here to change your mind about that. Because quite frankly I’d rather watch season 4 then season 5, but we will get into that. New places, new love interests and new big bads. Let’s get into Season 4 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Succession and Class
I finally made time to watch Succession. The first season left me wondering what sort of fuss did the show made since I haven’t stumble on any review or analysis. Be that as it may, it feels good to step down from the online echo chambers once in a while. So I went through the search engines and, surprise me not, it was full of philosophical takes. Mostly from Antiquity to Early Modernity. Those informed essays made me think I was the crazy person on the bus. The most repeating claim was that Succession is so intriguing and beloved because it plays out with the Shakespearean grandeur of King Lear, Macbeth, and so forth.
