Live Action Avatar the Last Airbender
Realistically, time wise, they only had to cut 2 hours from the original series’ first season. These episodes are an hour long and there's 8 of them, so literally change nothing about how much time you allowed yourself and you could have given us an almost beat for beat adaptation without cutting anything important. Instead so far, we have gotten an obscene amount of unnecessary context and exposition that does nothing but call the audience stupid. If you need these things spoon fed to you like this then you don’t need to be watching tv you need to be either in therapy, or staring at a blank wall because you are too stupid to consume anything that takes brain cells.

Live Action Avatar The Last Airbender
Okay…Netflix’s Avatar the Last Airbender has dropped its first season. Now much of the built-in fan base from the animated series is going into this very skeptical, mostly because the creators can’t stop talking and everything they say pisses us off. I want to preface this with, I am cautiously optimistic BUT there are no changes that they can make that will enhance the series. I know for a fact that they are going to fuck some things up because they are trying to shove 20 episodes into 8. They will skip stuff and depending on what it is that’s fine, but there will be some horrible decisions because it's just not possible to cover that much story in that little time. I am going to try and fight through the entire season so that this review is as accurate and honest as possible. But I have very little hope so please bear with me if this takes a while. I consider the animated series absolutely perfect and therefore the live action can only be worse. But let’s see how much worse.

What If
Okay with season 2 of What If now being released I thought I should actually get around to finishing season 1. I really only watched a few episodes that had the possibility of being tied to the multiverse of madness. But of course the filmmakers weren’t smart enough to spend their time on actual multidimensional exploration. So we are finishing it and ranking the episodes from worst to best.

What If
Now that What If is back on Disney+ we are going to be ranking the second season of the MCU show. We will be going from worst to best. With a show like this, where every episode is self-contained I’m not sure you can really call any of the episodes “bad”. As there is no growth or fitting into an existing narrative there is really only less good, or more compelling. That said, this particular ranking list is going to be almost entirely subjective, unlike others where I have tried to speak as technically as possible.

What If
Marvel’s series, What If has released its second season and we got more world exploration. As we see the multiverse build in the main MCU continuity, What If fills a void. The show allows the audience to see some of what goes on in other universes and timelines. Now as with any self isolated series some episodes are better than others. But it remains one of the MCU’s best shows.

Best of Buffy
Okay we are almost done discussing one of the greatest shows of all time, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. We are on the final season, Buffy season 7. This last season is very tonally different from the rest of the series just because of how high the stakes are all season. We also get some new players as part of our regular group. The regular scooby gang had to call in some back up when dealing with this season's Big bad.

Best of Buffy
After the absolute dumpster fire that is season 5 even the worst episodes of season 6 are welcome. We go from fighting a literal God to simply fighting some very annoying, but very human villains. I think this was an overcorrection but it was actually necessary in regrounding the series. Season 6 houses some of my most rewatched episodes and we will definitely list out which ones. Buffy season 6 is probably the most…disjointed season. There is a lot of good and a lot of just….off. We bring Buffy back from the dead and that really makes the series feel kind of confused.

Best of Buffy
Okay…Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my favorite show in the world. However it is not above criticism. My biggest problem with the show as a whole is season 5. Buffy season 5 is perhaps one of the worst things to happen to the show and quite frankly television as well. I will complain about this in further detail but the addition of Dawn and introduction of Glory were so wildly out of left field and inconsistent with the show as it had been established that it did nothing but bring out bad writing, weird and wrong character development and some terrible recovery after the fact. This season is not good and I almost always skip it but here we go.

Avatar the Last Airbender
Netflix has come out with their live action Avatar the Last Airbender. Prior to it's release the creative team did a lot of talking that they probably should not have done as all they managed to accomplish was ignite a hatred for them among their built in audience. The 8 episode first season is going to attempt to cover the entire first book of the series. Now they might actually accomplish this as they seem to have gutted all the heart, character development and joy from the show. That said, in order for this show to make sense there are some non-negotiable points that they are going to have to hit. So while going through my first season rewatch of the animated series I am going to point out the fixed points that have to happen in the live action.

Burnt - A Movie Review
I want to make food that makes people stop eating. Burnt was prepared in the kitchen and released to theaters in 2015. Adam Jones is a hardworking chef. Due to the stress in his career, he destroyed his life with drugs. As he lingers back into the scene, Adam returns to London, determined to redeem himself and outwit his rival restaurant with the best food ever.
