Desperate Housewives
The beginning of season 2 starts right where season 1 left off. Bree is grieving in isolation. Lynette is headed to work per her husband's request. Susan is in the hospital after the fallout with Zach and Mike. And Gabrielle throws John out of her house after he revealed to Carlos that he was the one that she was having an affair with. Oh and we have new neighbors on Wisteria lane. Not quite sure what the overall mystery for the season is going to be but we are starting off well with a very easy to follow timeline. I appreciate that we went straight from season 1 to season 2 with no time in between.

Atlas
Okay I know that the internet is on a JLo hate train, and they should be, she’s awful. But you know I can’t judge a movie properly before I see it. So I have forced myself to sit through Atlas. This seems to be a passion project for her but there are other people involved. I am going into this pretty blind, I am not even sure what the film is about so me and my opinion are a complete clean slate. Can the rest of the cast save this movie from JLo…that is the question.

Ranking DC Films
We all know that in the past the live action stories of the DC universe have been less than good. I have hope that James Gunn’s new universe will change that. He seems to have a good plan and knows how to execute it. All that said, let's talk about the live action movies that exist outside of his universe. For the purposes of this list I understand that he has claimed Blue Beetle under his cannon and therefore I will not be including it. Also we are going to omit Nolan’s Batman movies because those are really an entity of their own. So post Batman, pre-Gunn we are ranking live action DCU movies.

Best Sequels of All Time
Films can be a beautiful and complete medium…if done correctly. Some movies are meant to be stand alone yet for some reason production companies feel the deep need to ruin them with unnecessary sequels. That said, some sequels can help tell a more complete story with rich character development. So what constitutes a good sequel and which movies benefitted from them? I tried to keep this list with films that stopped at 2 but there are definitely a few that kept going. Obviously almost every single one of those fell off eventually and only got the opportunity to keep going because of good 2nd films.

Ranking X-Men Relationships
The X-Men are one of the most recognized and celebrated teams in all of comics. For many reasons the X-Men are beloved. One of those reasons is that despite their superhuman powers most of their interpersonal struggles are very grounded and very real. Allowing the audience to more closely relate to this band of misfits. One of my personal favorite parts of the X-Men are their romantic relationships. When we talk about Jean and Scott you have to also bring up Logan. There is no talking about Rogue without mentioning Gambit. So who is the best X-Men couple? Well first let’s lay down some ground rules; both members of the relationship have to have spent at least most of their time as members of the X-Men. I love Storm and T’Challa too but he is not an X-Man and therefore can not be included on this list.

House of the Dragon Ep. 2
We started off the new season of House of the Dragon with a grieving Rhaenyra, blood and cheese and a disgusting display between Alicent and crispy Cole. There is obviously going to be some fallout here in the second episode. With blood and cheese the dance has officially started and now the war is no longer about the throne, it is about vengeance and loss. So let’s get into House of the Dragon season 2 episode 2.

Thaw my heart
I've had this story in the backburner for a while after playing Batman Arkham Knight. In the game, Nora is kidnapped by the militia in an attempt to get Mr. Freeze to kill Batman. Victor rightfully distrusts the militia and instead implores Batman to help him retrieve Nora. Of course Batman is able to do so. But with Nora now awake, she makes the decision to stop letting Victor try to save her and they ride away in the sunset to be with each other with what little time they have left. Batman respectfully leaves them alone knowing Victor will not come back to Gotham. I absolutely love this ending, however I'm not the biggest fan of ambiguity. So this inspired me to write my own ending for Victor and Nora heavily inspired by this ending.

Maybe Justin Timberlake Just Isn't A Good Person
“I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely fucking nobody.” On January 31, 2024, while in the middle of a free concert to promote his then-upcoming sixth studio album, singer Justin Timberlake paused between songs to throw shade.

The Boys Season 2
The first few episodes of The Boys are out and the internet reaction for the most part has been insufferable. Between internet incels talking shit about Erin Moriarty’s looks and creatively illiterate morons screaming that this season is suffering from “bad writing” (something they couldn’t possibly be more specific about because they have no idea what would actually constitute bad writing) this season of The Boys is certainly being talked about. That said I think the new season is off to a great start and it feels literally exactly like the previous 3 seasons that we have gotten. Before we get started with The Boys season 2, episode 4 let’s do a quick recap up to this point, Butcher is dying, Huey’s mom is back, Firecracker is coming after Starlight and for some reason Sister Sage and The Deep slept together…Okay well here we go.
