RUMOR: Idris Elba To Star In This Steven King Epic!
Okay, okay here's the deal: Stephen King's The Dark Tower novel series is far and away my favorite collection of books, by about a million miles. Forgive me Dana, but even The Lord of the Rings doesn't compare in my mind, and that's why it's so exciting to find out that my favorite fictional characters are finally that much closer to having their story shared on film. The Dark Tower series is a set of 8 books published over the span of 30 years and totaling over 4,250 pages. These books can also be linked to several of King's other works through characters and settings. Ultimately, The Dark Tower Octology (if that's a word) truly is King's magnum opus; his crowning literary jewel.

'Twilight' Time is Past, Now Bring On The Volturi TV Series
Vampires are a big draw on television. The Vampire Diaries is entering its 8th and final season while The Originals is heading into its fourth. Even the big screen embraces the undead. The newest big vampire movie may just be the reboot of Anne Rice's popular Interview with a Vampire. As of May 2016, the film was moving forward with some discussions already taking place as to who would play the title character of Lestat. And let's not forget Lost Boys that is heading down the reboot alley as well. With The Vampire Diaries ending, viewers need another show to get their vampire fix. The creepy but popular Volturi from the Twilight franchise could be an option.

Xander Cage Is Set to Return in 'xXx 3,' Who Else Will Join Him?
13 years ago, Vin Diesel brought us a character that we all wished to be: Xander Cage - an extreme athlete and stuntman who seemed to have the world at his feet and is drawn into the life of a spy. In 2002, although it seemed like a semi-ridiculous plot, xXx was released and was a Box Office success, although, it was met with mild reviews. Its success spurned a sequel in 2005, but because of scheduling conflicts the story was re-written with a new character as the lead badass. Enter Ice Cube as Darius Stone in xXx: State of the Union, who is tasked with protecting the President against a power struggle against him. This iteration of the series, was met with even lesser reviews and box office revenues were drastically less.

Did The Independence Day: Resurgence Trailer Spoil The Whole Film?
Independence Day: Resurgence is set to release Summer, 2016. It's been 20 years since Independence Day premiered in theaters. And it looks like the time span between films in the franchise might have left a negative effect on the franchise. Independence Day (1996) was a classic science fiction film that will be regarded as such for a very long time. It ignited a fervor among fans, as well as appealing to a huge audience. The film set a precedent for an unknown happening to occur in a film to that date. Allying every human being against an alien force. It sparked mass appeal from audiences everywhere as audiences were privy to a film which united countries and entities, whom had contentious relations in the every-day world, within a fictitious scenario which called for governments and diplomats to put aside their petty differences to survive in the face of alien annihilation. It was definitely a captivating cinematic experience, although it may not wind up the same for its sequel, Independence Day Resurgence (2016).

Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright are working on a new film together. This is film will not be part of the Cornetto Trilogy as Pegg said the Trilogy had come to an end. But this certainly hasn't stopped them from coming back for a new Trilogy. Including this film, Pegg plans to make 3 more films within the coming 10 years just like the Cornetto Trilogy. The Cornetto Trilogy was made up of "Shaun of the Dead", "Hot Fuzz" and the latest movie from them "The Worlds End". These 3 films all had a reference to the Ice Cream called Cornetto.

Is Henry Pym Working With the Avengers in Captain America: Civil War?
Sam Wilson/Falcon's jumpstart in the MCU'. In Ant-Man(2015), we did get to see Anthony Mackie, the actor who plays Sam Wilson/Falcon sporting a new suit similar to what he's wearing in Captain America: Civil War but we didn't see Sam Wilson sporting any of the moves he's showcased in this new clip. In the new clip, Sam Wilson/Falcon comes flying in on his new set of wings, which he can also manipulate mid-flight to simulate a shield. There's not much else to decipher from the clip except Sam Wilson as he walks away, towards the end of the clip. He can be seen holding the expanse of his suit's wing as a protective shield. That scene could imply that Sam Wilson has been given several upgrades to his suit, but by whom is the question. As well as the new concept art for Captain America: Civil War revealing even more additions to Sam Wilson's armory.
