Where were you this Memorial Day weekend? Well, clearly not flocking to the cinemas to see the another peg-legged adventure in the latest #PiratesoftheCaribbean film or smell what The Rock has been cooking in the #Baywatch reboot. However, is it the movie's fault or is it those filthy critics and their poison pens?

Pause for Thor-ght: Patty Jenkins Opens Up About Her Troubled Time Working on 'Thor 2'
Hooray, we finally did it! Warner Bros.' #WonderWoman is currently lassoing the competition, and a slew of shining reviews for Diana Prince's first ever live-action film means that director #PattyJenkins can sigh with relief. A lot was riding on Wonder Woman and her invisible jet, with the female-first #superhero film arguably being make or break for an already turbulent #DCEU. While Warner Bros. and DC have produced several underwhelming films, things are usually a lot more cheerful on the bright backdrop of Disney's #MCU.

Don't 'Rain' on My Parade: 'Resident Evil' Star Nearly Quit Because of Michelle Rodriguez
It is all change as we open up the Hive once more, and it looks like Resident Evil is getting a fresh injection of the T-virus for its very own reboot (before the last film even makes it onto home release). With a new Leon Kennedy, a new Albert Wesker, and possibly a new Alice Marcus *sob,* #MillaJovovich is sadly out of the role after 15 years.

It Moist Be Love: How Did James Wan Persuade Nicole Kidman to Return to DC for 'Aquaman'
Well, it looks like production is well underway on #JamesWan's #Aquaman, the next film hoping to make a splash in the great ocean that is the #DCEU. As the cast sun themselves while filming on Australia's Gold Coast, stars like #JasonMomoa, #AmberHeard, and #WillemDafoe are sure to be hard at work. However, away from Heard's casting as the female lead Mera, another dazzling starlet has been grabbing the headlines. #NicoleKidman's inclusion as Aquaman's mother, Atlanna, marks the actress's second foray into the world of DC after playing Dr. Chase Meridian in the lackluster Batman Forever

'Beauty And The Beast': 5 Versions Of The Beast That Differ From Disney's Fairy Tale
Beauty and the Beast began with a fairytale written in 1740 by French novelist Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, although some would argue the story originated hundreds of years before in Greek mythology. Regardless, over 250 years later, the story is still being told through various mediums with a major motion picture from Disney releasing on Friday, March 17th.

You have to hand it to #Marvel, they are sure making the most of their #MCU. With films coming out left, right, and center, it seems that there is no stopping the #superhero hype machine. As journalists attended the revamped Marvel HQ at Disney, a lucky few also glimpsed footage from Black Panther, Thor: Ragnarok, and Spider-Man: Homecoming. 4 Reasons Why "Everybody Wants Some" Is The Comedy You Need To See
Over the last few decades comedy movies in general have always been met with fairly consistent success. Everybody wants to be able to laugh, and watch a light-hearted story unfold. Whether its an action comedy like 21 Jump Street, Rush Hour or Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Or its a dramatic comedy like The Breakfast Club, 500 Days of Summer or Love Actually. Or even a spoof comedy like Spaceballs, Scary Movie or Austin Powers. Whatever your preference of comedy, there's a deeper connection that draws us to these sort of movies: the laughs. We all want to laugh and most comedy movies either draw out the laughs because of the obvious jokes or ridiculous situations. Sometimes the laughs are brought out because of the similarity to our own personal stories, yet there are some films that do it so naturally that we don't even realize we're laughing until our sides ache. Everybody Wants Some is a movie in the latter of that list, it brings out laughter when you don't expect it and shines brightly as potentially one of the best comedies of the year. Here are 4 reasons why it's a film that you need to see.

'The Dark Tower' Is Rising Just Over The Horizon
For fans of Stephen King's The Dark Tower novel series, myself included, we've been waiting anxiously for our beloved books to become major motion picture films. Over the years there have been several rumors destroyed and hopes dashed, and with each failure there were little pieces of our souls that died along with them. Well, maybe that's an over-exaggeration, but you get the idea.

What's Really Going On With The Suicide Squad?
If you haven't seen the latest Suicide Squad trailer yet, then please stop reading and watch this. Okay, now that you've seen the most recent and most definitely glorious Suicide Squad trailer, hopefully you're as geeked about it as I am. From day one, Suicide Squad has promised to be an unorthodox film and a sure-fire, roller-coaster ride. It truly appears to be setting itself up to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest, hits of the year, most likely being on par with Captain America: Civil War. Some may say that's a big assumption, but so far I've seen nothing that warrants anything but the highest hopes for Suicide Squad.
