While explosions and demolition expert #MichaelBay may be now known for blowing up Stonehenge and leading the Transformer's franchise to maligned glory, let's not forget that he wasn't always making robots fight each other. With an illustrious career spanning three decades, Bay has brought us such action-packed adventures as Bad Boys, Armageddon, and Pearl Harbor. Christopher Nolan Would Like to Direct the James Bond Series
While the internet is comparing French president Emmanuel Macron to #JamesBond there's no doubt that the movie series has been out for vacation. There's not even been word yet if Daniel Craig would be returning to reprise his role as the British secret agent. All of this is backed by the constant discussion of where the franchise is at and where the rights are for the franchise.

Ashes to Fasses: Michael Fassbender Set to Return as Magneto In Fox's 'Dark Phoenix'
You'd better get polishing that helmet, Mike, because it looks like acclaimed actor #MichaelFassbender is returning to the #XMen franchise. Taking over from Sir Ian McKellen in the role of Erik Lehnsherr, a.k.a. Magneto, in 2011's X-Men: First Class, Fassbender went on to play the part in Days of Future Past and Apocalypse. Mixed success with the franchise means that news has been scarce around Fox's plans for its "main series" of X-Men films, and Fassbender's involvement in the future of phoenixes and psychics has remained sketchy until now.

Get To The Chopper: How The Original 'Jurassic Park' Ending Channelled 'Jaws 2'
Time to open up the gates, because we are heading back into the park. No, this isn't news on the hotly anticipated #JurassicWorld sequel, we are heading back to 1993 and #StevenSpielberg's original #JurassicPark. From toilet chow-downs to flying goat legs, clever girls to a cigar chomping Samuel L. Jackson, Jurassic Park had it all. Raptors are still my go-to excuse for not spending time in the kitchen nowadays, and as a nugget of '90s nostalgia, Jurassic Park is almost unrivalled in its whimsy.

Despicable Me 3: It Was So Bad My Three Year Old Nephew Walked Out — Is it Sequel Fatigue?
It's not unusual on Friday to check out the latest releases. Tonight was one of those nights. My nephew had me lace up his best shoes, grab his 7UP, and off we headed to the movies. At three, it's not unusual for kids to want to do something fun, and for Tyson - it's the movies. With his Spider-Man backpack on we found ourselves in line before purchasing my adult ticket. At three, it was understandable they didn't require one at the local AMC.

Where There's a Quill There's a Way: Did 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' Introduce Peter Quill's Sister?
The world's most dysfunctional family returned for #JamesGunn's #GuardiansoftheGalaxy2, and among the hugging and daddy issues, we finally solved the mystery of who popped a bun in Meredith Quill's oven that rolled over from 2014's first film. It was certainly a family affair as Gunn retconned the #comicbook storylines and made the spherical mass that was Ego the Living Planet into Star-Lord's actual father. Elsewhere, Drax dropped an Easter Egg about his daughter — the comic book character Moondragon — and Quill's grandfather also had a cameo. However, were we too blinded by a dancing shrub to miss another member of the Quill family tree right in front of our eyes?
