Suits You, Sir: Zack Snyder Showcases Dark Look For Batman In ‘Justice League’
We have all heard about the tragedy that forced Zack Snyder to drop out of his directorial duties on Justice League, but it hasn't stopped the brooding artist keeping a close eye on his team of heroes. As Joss Whedon takes over directorial duties to handle reshoots and post-production, the essence of Snyder is still very much flowing through the veins of the #DCEU's biggest venture yet.

Too Many Bens: Now We Know Why Uncle Ben Won't Be In 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'
They say in that comic books there are only three people who are truly dead: Bruce Wayne's parents and Peter Parker's Uncle Ben. However, while we watched Cliff Robertson take a bullet in the Raimiverse films and Martin Sheen choke it in The Amazing Spider-Man, don't expect the same from Uncle Ben in the #MCU.

Gunning for Greatness: Why the MCU Is One Big Headache for James Gunn's 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3'
It must be a pretty sweet deal being director #JamesGunn, saddling up to the cinematic greats and being known as one of the men who helped build the #MCU. With two hugely successful Guardians of the Galaxy films under his belt, a third on the way, and the difficult job of rocking out to classic songs all day as you read comic books, it certainly beats being Joel Schumacher. However, as Gunn delves deep into the history of Marvel and unearths old Guardians story arcs, he has discovered that there is one major drawback to crafting your own universe.

To Infinity And The Blonde: Kevin Feige Reveals 'Thor: Ragnarok' Means Big News For 'Infinity War'
Pull out your gem-covered glove and slap on some purple face paint, because the Mad Titan Thanos is finally getting his time to shine in the MCU. Sure, we may be less than a year away from the Russo brothers launching us into space with Avengers: Infinity War, but apart from knowing anyone and everyone will star in the ensemble, there are only some Ant-Man-sized details to go off so far.

Hellboy Hath No Fury: 'Hellboy' Reboot Is 'Taking The Cuffs Off' For Bloody R-Rating
There is something about a horned demon taking on foes like vampires, Nazis, and even Rasputin himself that just screams R-rating. While #GuillermodelToro brought us his own fantastical take on #MikeMignola's #Hellboy series back in 2004, there is no denying that it was more of a family affair than its red-soaked origins on the page. Although Del Toro returned for the 2008 sequel, we sadly never got a third film, an R-rating, or #RonPerlman playing Big Red in live-action ever again.

You Must Be Quazy: James Gunn Teases a Huge New Character for 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3'
We may not know a lot when it comes to #JamesGunn's next #GuardiansoftheGalaxy film, but you can sure expect a supernova of stars to blast off into the cosmos for our third space rodeo. We already saw that "Sly" dog #SylvesterStallone round up the "old" Guardians in one of Vol. 2's many post-credits scenes, but don't expect those guys to be the focus of #JamesGunn's third entry in his trilogy.

Expanding The World Wide Web: Kevin Feige Promises That 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Sequel Will Be New 'Civil War'
Swinging across the NYC skyline, #TomHolland hasn't even cast his box office web with #SpiderManHomecoming, but the MCU slate is already looking to the future. Although we know literally nothing about Marvel's Phase 4, we are at least confirmed the second part of Holland's #SpiderMan trilogy in 2019. After establishing a younger era of the hero, it is expected that a sequel will delve deeper into the character's 55 years of #comicbook lore.

Poppin' Round for a Cuppa: Emily Blunt Won't Be Watching Original 'Mary Poppins' for Inspiration
A spoonful of sugar may help the medicine go down, but it apparently doesn't impress actress #EmilyBlunt when it comes to the acting stakes. Long before Robin Williams became the coolest nanny in town, #JulieAndrews was singing her way into our hearts, but now 34-year-old Blunt will be opening up her umbrella to fly into cinemas as the titular heroine in #MaryPoppinsReturns. Being released some 54 years after the original film, the idea of a magical housekeeper is being resurrected for Returns by the #Disney penny-pinchers — hmmmm, Nanny McPhee anyone?

The Bone Of Contention: Director Defends Netflix's 'To The Bone' For 'Glamorizing' Eating Disorders
Tackling the subject of eating disorders was never going to be a popular choice for streaming giant Netflix. Where original comedies like Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt nestle alongside controversial dramas like #13ReasonsWhy, Marti Noxon's #ToTheBone is already coming under fire for its representation of yet another controversial issue. The trailer for the drama — starring #LilyCollins and #KeanuReeves — may only just have been released, but critics are already swarming over the movie with accusations of glamorizing a very sensitive topic of conversation.

Mummy's the Word: 'The Mummy' Director Confirms Wonderful Brendan Fraser Connection
Oh #BrendanFraser, where have you been? From Hollywood heartthrob to seeming obscurity, where is the 48-year-old actor now? Sure, Fraser didn't fully descend into the same dark realm as Geena Davis or Macaulay Culkin, but it's true he hasn't done much of late. While all that is set to change with FX's upcoming anthology series Trust, there is no denying that Fraser will probably always be remembered for his role as Rick O'Connell in Universal's #TheMummy franchise from 1999 to 2008.
