Margot Robbie to Play Barbie!
The idea of a live action Barbie film was announced in 2016. I guess Mattel wanted to create their own version of Life Size and if you hear about a movie based on a doll, you automatically think of Chucky or Talking Tina from The Twilight Zone.

Frozen 2, the sequel to Disney’s 2013 animated blockbuster, will be out in November this year. Yet, not much has been revealed about the much-anticipated follow-up bar the fact that most of the top-notch voice cast will be back and there will be seven new songs.

How Netflix's 'Bandersnatch' Broke Me!
I waited an entire week to check out Netflix's Bandersnatch. I didn't have anything spoiled for me, except the fact this movie was an interactive film, where you make decisions for the protagonist named Stefan Butler (played by Fionn Whitehead, who deserve an award for his acting after everything I've put him through).

The Tortured Release Tale of 'The Upside' Starring Kevin Hart
The Upside starring Kevin Hart and Bryan Cranston opens nationwide this weekend, and there is much that we know thus far about this film. Not the least of which is the ongoing controversy surrounding Kevin Hart and his unceremonious (literally) departure from hosting the Academy Awards. When Hart was announced as the host last year, Twitter users began reposting homophobic tweets that the actor and comedian had posted years earlier.

Under Appreciated Films of History I
In the early days of Soviet film there was a great art film boom, led by a large variety of directors. Vsevolod Pudovkin, Sergei Eisenstein, Lev Kuleshov, Dziga Vertov, and many others released film after film that were each wonderful examples of the medium. Unfortunately, a lot of these fantastic films (as well as other great films from around the world) were and remain underappreciated, something that I aim to change. One such film was Lev Kuleshov’s first comedy, The Extraordinary Adventures of Mr. West in the Land of the Bolsheviks, in which Pudovkin wrote, acted, and provided art direction. It was released in 1924, and at only 94 minutes, was a relatively short silent film.

'Ralph Breaks the Internet'—A Movie Review
For the last five years, my best friend and I have had a tradition where we see a movie on the second of January. We’ve seen a handful of good movies to start off our year. This year we saw Ralph Breaks the Internet. It was a powerful story that really spoke to me. It’s been a while since I had fun watching a movie looking forward to what will happen next and even feeling a little down when it had to end.
