Getting Tired of Superhero Movies?
I don't know if you've heard but there's a film called Avengers: Endgame coming out and some people are absolutely excited to see it. To them, it’s the most important thing they'll ever watch. Sorry fanboys and girls, I am not one of those people. I haven’t even seen Infinity War.

My Problem with Jordan Peele's 'Us'
Let me just start off saying that I liked Us as a whole and I thought it was enjoyable however, when I left the cinema, I left slightly disappointed. After watching Get Out, and watching the trailer for Us, I can certainly say my expectations for this movie were very high and maybe that plays a factor in me being disappointed with this film, but some things didn't quite make sense.

Are Villains Always Necessary?
After putting it off for too long, I finally found time in my schedule to sit down and watch Coco on Netflix. This was not only the winner of the 2018 academy award for Best Animated Feature, but also the award for Best Original Song, so I was excited to see what I was missing.

Movie Review: 'Berserk,' a Solid Debut for Director-Writer-Star Rhys Wakefield
Berserk stars its very own writer, director, and actor, Rhys Wakefield as Evan. Evan is a wannabe movie star actor, director, and writer, though he has done very few of those things during his relatively short Hollywood career. As we meet Evan, he is in the midst of being fired by his agent. He manages to retain his representation with a promise that he will get his best friend, Raffy (Nick Cannon) to star in his movie, and the two of them will finish the script in one night.

Movie Review: 'The Beach Bum' Movie as Failed Meme
The Beach Bum is a movie that eluded me. I can’t pin down the point of the movie, or the central character, Moondog, played by Matthew McConaughey. I have had a few people tell me what they believe the point of Director Harmony Korine’s meandering, yet calculated, attempt to create Jeffrey Lebowski for the modern era, but I didn’t find anything in the movie that provided any sense of direction. And combining that feeling with not finding the film entertaining, I was left entirely cold by The Beach Bum.

What We Could See in a 'Captain Marvel' Sequel
Captain Marvel was met with more skepticism than any other MCU film. However, those cynics have had to pipe down, as the movie has soared past the one billion mark, and become the 7th highest grossing MCU film. There is no certainty that it will not pass others, but being high above the majority is an amazing feat for the first female led MCU flick.
