Favorite Easter Eggs in ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’
While almost everyone was giving their significant others flowers and candy on Valentine’s Day, yours truly saw an amazing movie. A movie that I and everyone else have been talking about for months. That movie was Sonic the Hedgehog. As of this article, it topped the box office and made $57 million dollars and $100 million worldwide, marking the largest showing for a video game adaption and surpassing Detective Pikachu, which grossed $54.3 million last year. It's expected to earn between $68-$70 million through President's Day. Movies based of off video games tend to be epic fails or flops, but Sonic proved critics wrong and if it weren't for the redesign of the titular character, the movie would have not had earnings like these.

Personal Shopper: The Weird Indie
I had seen a reference to Personal Shopper and I had to look up what exactly this film was. I've never had much on an interest in Kristen Stewart before and after the Twilight phenomenon. I read that this was a movie worth being a prolific acting achievement for Kristen Stewart in her post-Twilight career. I had avoided it for a while til I was in the mood to try it out. Little did I know it was going to be a very bizarre plot for this indie movie.

Review: The Photograph
When it comes to movies, I tend to gravitate to the ones that I would enjoy the most. When researching the film, I always search for two things: the cast and the showtimes. I never rely on movie reviews from the most popular newspapers and magazines. I don't allow others to dictate if I should see it or not. My main reasoning for spending my hard-earned money on projects like this is in hopes of it doing well in the movie theatres and to give traction for other movies to create stories documenting the black experience. These movie studios love to follow the money and the numbers. With that being said I wanted to share my thoughts and opinions on the movie and the characters Mae and Michael played by Issa Rae and LaKeith Stanfield.

Luis Buñuel and Freud
Careful! Spoilers! I will try and make some connections between the work of Buñuel and Sigmund Freud as it is far more interesting than it sounds. There are a lot of scenes in the films that you don't realise have anything to do with psychoanalysis. I will only include a few brief points. It becomes fascinating when you start digging...

Joker
First time Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix for Joker with the most real powerful Oscars speech for the ages. Addressing a massive amount of white people to their faces about systemic racism, white privilege, oppression, and him being apart of it. I see someone who’s striving for change and beginning to make change. Also addressing animal cruelty and lastly a few words for his late brother a legendary actor River Phoenix God bless the dead may he Rest in peace. A two time Oscar winner for best actor and best score. Difficult topics are going to be difficult to watch. If you need a check and balance system for your life, for your current statement of mind and position in life than this movie is needed.
