The 10 Worst Films of 2002 (according to the critics). Top Story - August 2022.
The world of 2002 was mostly dominated by the aftermath of the attacks on September 11 2001 and the resulting War on Terror, but the year also contained several future echoes of the world we currently live in. Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her Golden Jubilee, commemorating 50 years as the the Queen of the United Kingdom and the head of the Commonwealth. The Euro became the new standard currency for 19 different European countries including France, Germany, Spain, Ireland, Italy and Greece. On the other side of the world, while Japan and South Korea became the first Asian countries to host the FIFA World Cup, China was troubled by SARS, a virus which would eventually infect 8,000 people from 29 different countries, causing 774 deaths.

10 Worst Films of 2001 (according to the critics)
Back in 1968, sci-fi writer Arthur C. Clarke and film director Stanley Kubrick came together to create 2001: A Space Odyssey. Released the year before man landed on the Moon, the film and its concurrent novel presented an ambitious look into the future of space travel, the technology involved with it and the perils of the advancement of AI. Both the book and movie were huge critical successes, with the latter now regarded as one the greatest and most influential movies ever made.

'The Batman' Sequel Villain Fancast
The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, was a smash hit when it was released in early 2022. Combining amazing acting performances with solid writing and directing, it quickly became one of the best received Batman films. Quickly after its release, The Batman was tipped for a sequel with some of the cast and the director teasing Pattinson's return as the Dark Knight in the future. Couple that with Barry Keoghan's Joker being teased teaming up with the Riddler in the final moment of the film, a sequel is more than likely in development right now.

Movie Review: 'Mack & Rita' Another Flop for Diane Keaton
I’ve been struggling with this silly review of this very silly movie for a couple of days. Why? Because I like Diane Keaton and I don’t enjoy hating her movies. Diane Keaton is a classy actress with a wealth of talent and style who was great… in the 1970s. Ever since the late 90s something has possessed Diane Keaton to make some of the most unwatchable movies of the past 30 years. Movies such as Because I Said So, Mad Money, Town & Country, The Family Stone, Poms, The Book Club, Hanging Up, And So It Goes, are some of the most dull and insulting movies I have ever seen.

Movie Review: 'Where the Crawdads Sing'
Where the Crawdads Sing is too cowardly to be the kind of unconventional movie it could be. The story of a young woman raising herself in a South Carolina Swamp, Where the Crawdads Sing has an intriguing idea at heart but fails to capitalize on that idea. Instead, the film, and, I am told, the book, fall back on a conventional courtroom story to carry the drama. There is nothing wrong with a good courtroom mystery but it needs to be better than your average episode of Law & Order television episode or it needs to be scrapped. Crawdads fails that test.

10 Essential And Iconic Movies Everyone Should Watch (And Rewatch)
Here’s the thing—I love movies. I’ve seen hundreds (nearing a thousand, I’m not kidding, I keep a list.) There are many classic movies worth seeing. In no particular order, this is a list of ten movies that are iconic and worth each moment of their run time and your time. I’ve seen every movie on this list numerous times, and I remain confident in my decision to recommend them. They’re all great; watch em’ all, or the Texan accent (which only exists in my mind and in my listicle-writing apparently) stays put.

Live action Pinocchio coming to Disney+ in Sept. Top Story - August 2022.
How has Disney’s track record been with live-action remakes lately? Little sub-par ya thinking? What was the last one, Cruella, I think? Definitely, not the worst but kinda felt like too much of its own thing to really be considered the same character we knew from Disney if you ask me. But i guess they had to do something different cause they already had those two live-action “101 Dalmatians” movies.

My favorite movies from every year of my life.
This was really fun to do so before I start I wanted to give shouts to both Zach Cherry and Cody Leach for the idea there are both youtubers fyi and you can them out if you want over there. As for this list, I had a few runner- ups for specific years, and I will lwt you know those now. For 1994 the runner up was “The Little Rascals”.For 1998 the runner up was “Snake Eyes” I’m del Palma Stan!, I can’t help it! For 2005 the runner up is “Rumor has it” one of my favorite Jen Aniston movies. 2011’s runner up is “Girl with The Dragon Tattoo”. 2012’s runner up is V-H-S, that’s one of the most unique horror movies I’ve ever seen. And the second sequel I enjoy as well.I had a runner up for 2019 but I don’t remember what movie that was.Ok now that I’ve done that, let me tell you why I’ve done this.I made this list because every movie on this list has had an affect on me the years they came out, and the subsequent years of course. Not the first five maybe because I was so young, but over the years they became favorites since. As with everyone else movies hold a special place in my heart, well I’ll say life cause saying heart sounds corny lol. I did another list that is similar to this one, but only with horror movies. I wrote it on my personal blog and I think I might put it on here in October. But back to this list I realized that a lot of my favorites have been action oriented, which is a genre I didn’t really like growing up. But now I can say it’s one of my favorites. Oh! My runner up for 2010 I just remembered is “Inception”. If enough people read this I might put it on YouTube, but if it flops oh well lol. My ultimate favorite movie on this list is my 1994 entry. Just like the other movies most of what I want to say about this movie is in the caption. I haven’t seen anyone do something like this on her. Since we can leave comments on her now , I would like to know if anyone has done this as well. it would be fun to read someone else’s list!! Maybe in a different genre even.
