Malcolm, Michael, and Terry. Top Story - July 2025.
It's been very hard to be a member of what we call Generation X this week. The pain is too big to handle alone. My title might be a little confusing, so I will get that out of the way first: Malcolm-Jamal Warner, John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne, and Terry Gene Bollea ("Hulk Hogan") have all passed away, and my mind is in many different places as I type this out. The summer has been hot, financially unrewarding, full of news of insanity, violence and disappointment. It all seems so familiar. And to read about these losses and to have to go on with my day just seems ridiculous.

Thank You, Chrollo
Spoilers for the Hunter x Hunter anime and manga! — Chrollo Lucilfer Chrollo is one of the most beloved villains in Hunter x Hunter, and for good reason. He is a very mysterious and interesting character in how tricky he can be to understand, so I want to preface this analysis by saying that all of the following is just my opinion and my personal interpretation of Chrollo’s character—unlike my Makima analysis, which is all fact. (She told me herself.)

The First Film to Win an Oscar: Wings (1927)
Before the glitz of the red carpet, before Meryl Streep collected her first golden statue, and before movies spoke a single word—there was Wings. In a time when cinema was still discovering its voice, one film soared above the rest and etched its name into history. Wings (1927) wasn’t just the first Best Picture winner at the Academy Awards—it was a breathtaking war epic that proved film could be more than entertainment. It could be art.

Rachel Reviews: Fleabag
I've been craving good drama that's witty, entertaining and unique, for a bit of escapism from the darkness of the real world at the moment. I wanted to watch something which is about people and for it to illustrate relationships that felt like they were rooted in reality, reality as I wanted to see it, not this fear-mongering-crazy-hatred world that's projected to me whenever I look out.
