Dungeons and Daddies, Not A BDSM Podcast, But An Incredibly Entertaining and (NSFW)Rowdy Goodtime
As birthday presents go I’ve been given some great ones over the years. It doesn’t hurt that my birthday always falls around Labor Day and DragonCon, so quite frequently these gifts center around con-related hijinx and fun. Dinners at fun restaurants, photo ops with favorite celebs, autographs, books and merch all geared toward feeding my geekiness with love.

If You're Asking Me These Are The Ones To Watch Every Halloween
It's hard to believe that it has been twelve years since the first Paranormal Activity was released. The theaters were filled and there was jump scares to spare as people found their inner "oh shit" and "holy crap" moment. Paranormal Activity, made for less than fifty-thousand dollars, scored one of the biggest and most impressive returns on an independent film in the history of the business. Since its release, it's spawned a movie franchise with the most recent Paranormal Activity coming out this Friday, October 29th, 2021. If you're not watching Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin on Paramount plus, perhaps revisiting the original is in your plans. It's definitely in mine.

I've had a VISIONS
Insert mandatory introduction of how I've loved Star Wars longer than I knew what language was here. Being a Star Wars enthusiast is not a hot take. What has felt like just one more thing I shouted into the sky without response is the obvious yet rare combination of Star Wars and drawn animation, particularly Anime.

West End Live 2021 – A Retrospective
Since it was established in 2005, West End Live has become one of the defining highlights of the London theatrical calendar. Every June, hundreds of performers gather in Trafalgar Square to provide audiences with an insight into the energy and diversity of London theatre. Over the course of a single weekend, we get open-air performances from the casts of several West End Musicals, and they are joined by touring productions, dance shows, concerts, and even a couple of magic acts. In 2019, the event was attended by around 500,000 people, who watched 50 performances involving a total of approximately 700 performers. Like almost all in-person theatre events in 2020, West End Live was cancelled due to the COVID pandemic, with a handful of major blockbusters providing smaller online concerts instead. This year, the success of the vaccination programme and the reopening of London’s theatres meant that it became possible to revive the event at full capacity. A full West End Live weekend took place last month (17th and 18th of September), featuring a total of 47 performances across the two days. Vaccine certifications were required to attend – an upgrade on the West End’ frustratingly lax safety protocols. West End Live 2021 represented an effective way of demonstrating that theatre has begun to regain its status as a cornerstone of London culture.
