The Movie ‘The Menu’ Is a Disappointing Class Commentary
Seth Reiss and Will Tracy's satirical romp The Menu is about the maniacal Chef Slowik enacting revenge on those he perceives as slighting him. It centers around 12 customers being ferried to the private island to pay for a $1,000+ per plate dining experience. Throughout the night, it quickly becomes apparent that none of them are leaving alive.

Top Ten List from a Big Fan
Back when I was happily married, I had written a little poem about two of my favorite actresses: Natalie Portman and Jennifer Lawrence. I said in my poem that either one of them could play me if there was a movie about my life. The fact is that Natalie has an Oscar award and Jennifer does not. It's a numbers game really. Natalie has been in more films. Natalie had over 7 movies as contenders for the award, while Jennifer only had 3 contenders.

As Walter Cronkite reputedly said 'War is a form of madness'. This is my choice of films that I consider to be the most illuminating about the madness and realities of war together with its consequences for the people who have to do the actual fighting and dying - or be closely involved.

WTF Endings
If you’re here it's because you love TV and that means that you have probably stuck with a show long enough to witness it become absolutely terrible. Normally this is a result of a TV show running for too long. The creatives didn’t have an ending in mind, the network forced them to keep going and then creative chaos ensued…and not in a good way. We can all name a show that we loved, we were dedicated too and then it got bad. I’m here to name a few, so here we go.

These forms of media include movies, books, video games, and social media. Artists use worldbuilding, character growth, and interactivity to keep their audiences interested. By studying established transmedia franchises, we can learn more about the methods that make the storytelling compelling in today's media climate. Two of my favorites are The Blair Witch Project and Star Wars.

5 Reasons Why Visual Novels Struggle as a Medium
I love visual novels. Some of my most beloved stories came from this underused medium. So it saddens me to know that this medium struggles to get a wide audience. In the beginning, I didn’t get why visual novels were not more popular.

Creed III Movie Review
Since it first hit the masses in 2015, the Creed franchise has picked up the torch and delivered a great follow-up to an iconic set of films. Without Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky and only passing remarks to films past, is Creed III able to stand on its own two feet? Just like the star at its centre, this entry is always up to the challenge.
