Last weekend on May 24th for the first time ever I attended the convention known as Fear Fest in Raleigh, North Carolina, just an hour and some change away from where I live. It starts off as a near shot-for-shot recreation before quickly developing into a more sophisticated approach to its themes. With Sydney Agudong as Nani, Maia Kealoha as Lilo, and Chris Sanders reprising his role as Stitch's voice, this new adaptation of the beloved Disney film is the kind of summertime adventure that both adults and children will love. Lilo & Stitch will be one of the summer's biggest hits since it has changed enough that the plot is distinct yet still identifiable.
