Islands Of Adventure: 'Kong: Skull Island' Comic Book Will Be A Prequel And Sequel
For those who can't get enough of supersized simians, you are in luck, thanks to Legendary Comics and the world of King Kong. The MonsterVerse kicked into full swing with Gareth Edwards's #Godzilla in 2014, Jordan Vogt-Roberts continued the trend with the recent Kong: Skull Island, while the two will come to a head in 2020 with #GodzillavsKong. For those who were disappointed with #SkullIsland, there is a chance for Legendary to redeem themselves with a four-part graphic series.

Are You Less of a Fan without the Comic Knowledge to Back It Up?
With the influx of comic book movies lately, it does seem to beg the question of "Do we need to start picking up the comics to get an idea of the characters?" When I saw the original The Avengers, I hadn't seen either Thor or Captain America, and it had been years since I saw the Hulk tie-in movie. It didn't make me confused, I was still able to enjoy the characters and the story, but there seems to be a stigmatism lately that you have to at least keep up with at least 4 different movies to go in and see one.
