Help Wanted!
I happened to come across this book on one of the display tables as I was wandering the bookstore, and I picked it up on a whim. Well, to be honest, I picked it up because I was struck by the cover and the bright red page edges. With that being said, I was also excited by the humorous way that the book description was written on the back cover. I hoped–and had my fingers crossed–that this was going to be a good read. I wasn’t disappointed!

This is especially important when it comes to science fiction movies in the twentieth century, where the film industry has become hyper-focused on creating things that can be turned into franchises, AKA cash cows they can milk until the cow collapses.

Movie Myth Debunked and a Core Memory Ruined!
Remember the 1987 film about three carefree bachelor roommates who get stuck taking care of a baby? If not, you will still get a kick out of this story. When I was a little girl, I loved this movie starring Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg, and Ted Danson. There was something funny and endearing about three grown men whose hearts melt over the baby they all love like their daughter (even though Danson’s character Jack is actually the father).
