10) 'Final Space' Recently released on Netflix, Final Space talks about a foolish yet lovable space ship “captain” (actually a prisoner) named Gary Goodspeed, and Mooncake, his loyal and insanely cute sidekick as they go on adventures trying to stop the evil Lord Commander. Highly recommended for fans of animated shows and a great show to start with for those unfamiliar with animation.

Throughout history, man has needed to see an evil man slip on a banana peel. Thusly, the stand-up comic was created by the Greeks. It was given another name, but that’s not the point. What humor does is take aim at the issues, negativity, irony, or joyousness, and playfulness of life and condense it into bits that produce laughter in the individual. The legends that have come and gone from Lenny Bruce, Richard Pryor, and George Carlin all have made indelible marks on their journeys to the funny. But over time, a new crop of laugh factories have been produced. All of the stand-up comics that have gathered up the courage to stand in front of tens of people to tens of thousands of people and before home audiences of millions deserve their reverence, even when they’re irreverent. The reinvention and expansion of the tale is one of the most appealing features, it’s endlessly detailed, giving agency humour and skill to every major character.

Why Are You Ranking: Best 'Chappelle's Show' Seasons Listed from Gay KKK to Purple Heels
Most Generation X’er and some members of the Millennial Generation, can point to a show that showcases edginess, surrealism, and flat-out funny material through the medium of television. Chappelle’s Show was that program that brought together Black, red, yellow, white, and brown and said it was okay to laugh at our foibles, not our virtues. Now with a series of substantial comedy specials with Netflix under his belt, Mr. DC (also Washington, D.C.’s own) has risen from the still fiery hot ashes of his former show. Chappelle, Neal Brennan, and company sought to create something that they knew would be canceled. They joked about it almost incessantly. From the “When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong” sketches, one might glean that similar circumstances occurred while on the set of the show. Still, the show blossomed into a wonderful array of jokes and sometimes uncomfortable asides about racial identity and sexual harassment. Soon, it imploded under its own weight. Dave Chappelle epitomized the nature of a cool guy that could commit comedic acts with both intensity and aplomb. Though his sudden departure sent shockwaves that led to a feature in TIME magazine from Africa, a trip to Inside the Actors Studio, and an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, the series presents overall as thought-provoking and gut-wrenching, original content. Along with some of the hottest names in R&B and Hip Hop, the show was a staple for at least two generations of people. Why 'Avengers Infinity War' Was So Successful (No Spoilers)
Currently Marvel studios has two movies in theaters that are producing a lot of money in the box office. Infinity War brought in $1.8 Billion. Deadpool 2 was able to move Infinity War out of the number one spot for the past 3 weeks. The reason Infinity War was so successful was because of the mystery behind the plot till it came out. Many of the trailers did not give away much of what the movie was showing. Comedy is always alluring to younger and older crowds especially if that comedy is able to cause a few out loud laughing in the theater while the movie’s end was very sad. (No spoilers.) It had the combination of many different Marvel characters from all of our favorite movies; Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange, Black Panther (which just came out in February of 2016) and the original Avengers. This combination of movies that also just recently came out made it more attractive to super hero fans of all types even if you only had seen one movie. Since Marvel has released 3 major box office movies in the past few months, their ability to captivate the audience grew creating a reminding factor to the consumer. While we all hate how expensive the movie theaters are, we still go to see our favorite releases and different movies that have sequels can bring in a lot of money. Why write another storyline when we can continue with the one we have? The separation and elongating of the story line will cause huge amounts of people to go see the new movie that just came out all at once. The first few days a movie is released is when they will receive a fair majority of their proceeds. As a Marvel fan, for many years seeing a new Marvel movie became something to look forward to for months. You hear the movie is coming out and you almost always plan on seeing it the first week or two of its release. The same type of commitment goes with Harry Potter fans; all 8 movies came out far enough apart to create that urgency when they are released. The marketing model behind this is to bring in the four P’s: Product (the movie), Price (varies between theater), Promotion (little is needed when you already have a massive fan base), and Place (has to do with timing of releasing each movie).

"Take my wife! PLEASE!!!!" – Henny Youngman Comedy. It is sorely missing in the world today. It was honestly the first reaction I can remember. I remember laughing as a child, laughing as a teenager, laughing as a young adult, but not laughing so much as a senior citizen. Laughing seems to be an art form from the past. It used to be pure and plentiful. Now, it is, at times, rare and even raunchy. So, where are the truly funny people?

"I've Always Wanted to Try Stand Up"
I've been doing stand up for two years now, and it's become one of my greatest passions and favorite things to do. Every time I talk to someone about it, or I see a new comic performing for the first time, that phrase always comes up in some way or another, and is usually followed by, "but I don't know how," or, "but I'm not brave enough to do it." Not only is it way easier than you'd think, but once you try it, the fun and excitement of it outweighs the nerves. If you're thinking about starting stand up comedy, go for it! It's never too late to start, and it's surprisingly easy to get going. I'm here to offer encouraging words and advice for those considering stand up and those just starting out.

"Loud, rude, obnoxious, abusive, terrorist, insane..." These are the words people use to describe Alex Jones: the Greatest comedian of our generation. What makes Alex Jones's brand of comedy so hilarious is the ridiculous claims he makes on his hit comedy show, InfoWars. The radio show premise is about Alex Jones, “a unique voice that sifts through the information and exposes the underlying intentions.” Truly gospel for those looking for the greatest of laughs.
