Art is There
I have given it some thought over the years on why art is important and the answer is simply that there are going to be different reasons for different people. I think that most of us, however, can agree that it does have its place and purpose in society.

Nighthawks, by Edward Hopper

During a long career as an artist, Hopper had known both depression and success, and “Nighthawks”, painted in 1942, dates from one of his more productive periods when he was financially secure, in good health, and untroubled in his personal life.

A Filmmaker's Guide to: Artists on Screen
Caravaggio is my favourite painter, I have read multiple biographies on him, I have also seen a number of his works in real life. I have been keen to write an article explaining how to produce a Caravaggio-like effect on screen for a few years now but I was always scared of making it too long. So, I've tried my best to keep it to the bare essentials only and not go over the top about everything. There will be some references to paintings and the life of Caravaggio and so, the book "M: The Man Who Became Caravaggio" by Peter Robb may help if you're only just starting your Caravaggio journey. However, you can read this article without having read the book - the beginning of you Caravaggio journey can start here, I would be honoured to teach you about him.

The Art of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
Fresh fruit by the kitchen counter by Modern Nature Art by Xandra Breban Art is amazing. We as people love art very much. Paintings, drawings, jewelry, make-up, they somehow go together when you are an artist. You take the time that is needed to look your best so that people take you and your art seriously. Many, many artists, throughout the ages made sure to dress in a way that makes us look at and appreciate their art work.
