Summer comes clean to Nick and Phyllis and apologizes to Kyle

On Thursday's episode of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Skyle fans will obtain what they have been waiting for these past few months. A number of viewers of the CBS soap are saying this is the best storyline and also the worst. At the end of all the revelations coming to light, Michael Mealor and Hunter King will be gone. Mealor has confirmed his departure but as of this writing on August 4 2021 King continues to remain silent.

Along the way, on this Skyle journey, Michelle Stafford as Phyllis is shining bright. Many of those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS are saying this has been the most entertaining storyline in a number of years. Fans cannot wait to see Tara and Sally get what is coming to them. No one expected Ashland Locke and his wife to be on the CBS soap long term but a number of viewers are wondering what Sally's fate will be. Courtney Hope fans are hoping that her character might remain in Genoa City but things look pretty bleak.

Spoilers for THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS concur that on Thursday, Summer will finally come clean to her parents as well as Kyle. During a video chat with Phyllis, Nick will be watching and hear the plight of his daughter. Summer will admit that Tara and Sally conspired to get her the job in Italy so that Sally could have her position at JCB. She will also let them know that Tara threatened to take Harrison away from Kyle.

Phyllis suspecting what Tara and Sally were up to is one thing but hearing it straight from her daughter's mouth is quite another. Summer has kept all of this quiet for so long and her mother will probably have to pull it out of her. Nick and Phyllis might also have to encourage her to come clean and tell Kyle the truth. However, it happens Summer will talk to her former fiancee via video chat also. Spoilers don't say who initiates these video communications but only that they will take place on Thursday.

Kyle will be blown away by Summer's admission and also her apology. He will also be angry that he allowed Tara into his home only for her to betray him in this manner. Some of those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS had thought perhaps Tara might seduce Kyle but with Mealor leaving the CBS soap things had to be rushed along and fans are glad. Spoilers have teased that Kyle is going to make a big decision and it might be to fly to Italy to be with Summer.

Skyle fans will be overjoyed at this video reunion but the best might be yet to come. There have been rumors of a physical reunion between Kyle and Summer but this has not yet been confirmed. There is no way at this point to know for certain whether fans will see more of this couple or if everything else will take place off screen.

Those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS are wondering how the Harrison situation will be worked out in such a short time. Kyle cannot take the boy away from his mother because Tara and Ashland still have parental rights. Perhaps once he confronts Tara she might blurt out that Harrison is not Kyle's son but in that case another DNA test would be in order. Some fans of the show say they don't recall Ashland sharing the results of the tests he had done so the little boy's paternity is still in question.

All of that as well as the fates of Tara and Sally can be worked out in time. Right now, Skyle fans will want to tune in Thursday to see Summer's confessions. Kyle reuniting with the love of his life is the big payoff for all of the drama. Nick, Phyllis, Victor, Nikki, and others can take care of Tara and Sally down the road. There have been so many obstacles for this popular couple and now it seems they are getting their due season so stay tuned.
