Shadam has a renewed connection on 'The Young and the Restless'
Shey may be in big trouble now that Sharon and Adam share a few secrets. When the truth comes out it might end her marriage to Rey.
On Wednesday's episode of The Young and the Restless Shadam fans received a bonus when Sharon renewed her connection to Adam. The current circumstances in Genoa City seem like the prfect storm tht will put this couple back together.She is now hiding 2 secrets from Nick and Rey regarding the man they both hate. When the truth comes to light Sharon may find that her choice was not worth what she will endure. Viewers have been wondering since last year when Mark Grossman and Sharon Case's characters were going to get back together since the couple is dating off screen. The writers teased a reunion but it never took place and Sharon married Rey.
Many Y&R viewers believe that Rey is the better man for Sharon and were happy when they tied the knot. Others who enjoy the CBS daytime drama were hoping the real- life lovers would heat up the screen with their passion. Nothing is set in stone but it appears that things are being set in place fpr he connection between Adam and Sharon to deepen. Now that Chelsea is framing Conner's dad for poisoning Rey, there will be no going back for Chaddam. In the meantime, Adam made a move that will have Sharon eating out of his hands for quite some time.
On Wednesdaythe prodigal Newman phoned Sharon and let her know that he is the "stranger" who rescued Faith. He told her that he saw the accident from a distance and quickly decided to help. Adam also admitted that he had absolutely nothing to do with what happened to Rey and now the wheels in Sharon's mind are turning. She is overjoyed that Adam is the reason Faith is alive and she will forever be in his debt. Sharon will also believe that he is innocent not the one who tried to poison Rey and will do all she can to prove his innocense.
Mark Grossman and Sharon Case have terrific chemistry and fans thought they would be seeing more of it due to COVID restrictions. Social distancing regulations have cut down on the romantic scenes on the soaps and in many cases real life partners are used as stand ins. The Young and the Restless has two couples who are dating in real time and fans thought they would see more of them in lip locks but that did not happen. Bryton James, (Devon) and Britny Sarpy (Elena) are dating, yet their characters re not hitting the sheets on a regular basis on Y&R.
Viewers assumed that Adam and Sharon would reunite and that Case and Grossman would heat up the screen but that has not tken place either. On Wednesday, when Adam tried to explain himself to Sharon she said she did not have time for him. She pointed out that all of her energy needs to be focused on her troubled daughter and he agreed. Still, the seed has been sown for Sharon to hide the fact that Adam contacted her from Rey, Nick, and the GCPD. This is the first red flag and should not be ignored.
As time moves on and Faith improves, Sharon will probably revisit her decision. As Adam gets closer to the truth of what Chelsea has done he will need an ally to help him clear his name. Victor could always assist his youngest son but Shaddam fans are betting the farm that Sharon will be the one to assist her former lover. This will cause a series of unfortunate events that will more than likely cause Rey to leave her for good. Whatever happens the stage has been set and the connection between dam and Sharon is back. Adam will eventually begin pushing her and she must determine how far she is willing to go. Faith's healing process will be a big factor and finding out Chelsea is the real culprit will relly motivate Sharon.
