The upcoming Severance season 2 is receiving equally positive reviews as the first season, which is frequently praised as one of the most inventive and captivating sci-fi series ever produced. The focus of the show is a group of Lumon Industries workers whose memories have been "severed" to produce two distinct identities for their personal and professional life. Mark, the show's protagonist, spent the first season researching the corporation, which was established in the 19th century by a mysterious man named Kier Eagan.
Even though the majority of the Eagan family is long gone by the time Severance takes place, they nevertheless play a significant part in the plot. During Mark and his colleagues' visit to Lumon's Perpetuity Wing in the third episode of season 1, the bulk of its members are mentioned. The chamber is adorned with wax statues of Lumon's former CEOs, all of whom are descended from Kier Eagan. The specific part that the previous Eagans will play in the plot of Severance season 2 is unknown, but they are all crucial to comprehending Lumon's rich heritage and familial values.
Kier Eagan
The most well-known of the family is Kier Eagan, who is mentioned multiple times in the first season of Severance as the guy who founded Lumon and served as its first CEO. Among Lumon workers, he has been exalted to the status of a god, revered for his magnificence, and honored in paintings and statues all around the structure.
Since it's obvious that Kier Eagan from Severance has more undiscovered mysteries, there are a ton of hypotheses regarding him. The individual was one of Lumon Industries' most admired and longest-serving executives, serving as CEO for 74 years.
Imogene Eagan
Imogene, the wife of Lumon inventor Kier Eagan, who originally encountered the biotech entrepreneur at an ether plant when he was a young man, is mentioned in passing in the first season of Severance. Ironically, considering Lumon's stringent prohibitions barring professional partnerships, the two worked together before beginning a romantic connection.
According to the Lumon manual, which is distributed to all employees and is revered as a near-holy book, Imogene and Kier were "bonded by the spirit of industry" in their early years and assisted one another in starting the business from the bottom up. Imogene is revered as one of the founding members of the family, despite never having served as CEO.
Ambrose Eagan
Ambrose was a deserving heir to the CEO position because he was the oldest son of Lumon founder Kier Eagan. Despite growing up in the shadow of the legend and earning a rather bad reputation within the family, he is said to have had a great deal of admiration for his father. Why Ambrose was so unpopular is unknown, and this fact might be one of the "Eagan reveals" that were hinted to in Severance season 2.
Ambrose was the Eagan family member who served as CEO for the lowest amount of time—just two years. This was most likely brought on by his father's long-term management of the business till his passing. By this time Ambrose was in his fifties.
Myrtle Eagan
Myrtle Eagan, Kier Eagan's second child, was a very ambitious woman who always wanted to be in a leadership position, even though her brother Ambrose beat her to the position of CEO. In episode three of the first season of Severance, Irving describes how Myrtle always knew "she was meant to run the company" during the team's visit to the Perpetuity Wing.
In keeping with her father and brother, Myrtle is cherished for becoming Lumon Industries' first female CEO. The Myrtle Eagan School for Girls, which turns out to be Harmony Cobel's alma mater, was named for her in 1952. In contrast to the other CEOs' subdued color palettes, her statue's vivid red attire presents her as one of the family's loudest members.
Baird Eagan
Although their relationship has never been formally disclosed, Baird Eagan was Myrtle Eagan's heir. But based on the history of the prior CEOs, Baird was probably Myrtle's son. He is shown as an elderly white man with blue eyes and black hair on the Perpetuity Wing's wax figure. Prior to his passing at the age of 74, he served as CEO.
Very little is known about Kier Eagan's ancestors outside of his own children until Helly's twist at the end of the first season of Severance. Given that the Lumon housing development where Mark resides bears Baird's name, it is plausible that he was a prosperous and well-liked CEO.
Gerhardt Eagan
Severance hasn't gone into great depth on Gerhardt Eagan, another member of the family, other than the fact that he was the fifth CEO of Lumon and a direct descendant of Kier Eagan. He was probably Baird's brother or son, and his wax figure shows him as an elderly man with a beard and thick gray hair.
Phillip Eagan
Gerhardt Eagan's successor, Phillip Eagan, who was probably his child or sibling, ran the business for many years until his passing in 1999. His nickname, Pip, is indicated, implying that he is the namesake of the Kier restaurant Pips' Bar & Grille. The idea that everything in the town is named after one of Lumon's CEOs is supported by this, demonstrating their influence over this isolated community.
Leonora Eagan
Leonora Eagan led Lumon Industries until her resignation in 2003 and death two years later. She was the company's second female CEO and eighth overall. Her name was given to the Leonora Lake home estate in Lumon, where Irving resides, and she famously passed away at the early age of 48.
Jame Eagan
Jame Eagan is the CEO of Lumon Industries at the time of the first season of the program and one of the few Eagans who truly make an appearance in the cast of Severance. Although the number of generations is never disclosed, he is a direct descendant of Kier. In the season's ninth and last episode, Jame makes a brief appearance and reveals that he is Helly R's father.
Helena Eagan
The daughter of Lumon's current CEO, Helena Eagan, also called Helly, is the first member of the Eagan family to go through the severance process. She is one of the primary characters on the program and works at Lumon's "Macro Data Refinement" division. Before discovering who she really is in the show's finale and having to face her involvement in this company's enigmatic operations, Helly spends most of the first season of Severance attempting to get off the severance floor.
