Fans have been giving their opinions about what the future holds for Clifton and his character.

Scott Clifton claims he knows nothing

The Bold and the Beautiful viewers are taking the attitude of Tigger from Winnie the Pooh when it comes a current storyline by saying "We've bounced this way before." John McCook remained silent when his character Eric Forrester was near death because he was not allowed to talk about it. B&B watchers believe the same is true for Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer).

Fans believe Clifton knows his character's fate but cannot reveal it. In a recent interview, 40-year-old Scott shared what he could say about what would happen to Liam. Those expecting details will be disappointed because there were none. The award-winning soap vet says he is as clueless as the viewers and is taking thsi journey with them.

Has Liam been written out of B&B?

The Bold and the Beautiful tapes about a month in advance so the soap vet does know what will happen within the next four weeks but is reamining silent. Some fans say Clifton is too important to the show to kill off and that his character will make a miraculous recovery.

Liam has a massive untreatable brain tumor and time is running out but on daytime miracle cures happen all the time. There are also B&B viewers who believe Liam will die and Clifton will retur to portraying Dillon Quartermaine the son of Tray Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) on General Hospital.

Allegedly General Hospital is not on the radar

One reason fans think Dillion Quartermaine could return is because of Rena Sofer. She left her role as Quinn Forrester on the CBS soap and returned to playing Lois Cerullo on GH but Clifton says he has no plans to go back to his former soap.

Is Liam expendable? Do the writers realize they have backed him into a corner with the repeated love triangle storylines. Would they kill him off rather than allow him to find happiness with a woman that is not one of his baby mama's?

Is Scott Clifton leaving B&B

Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful know that there are table reads and that cast members can be told in advance what is happening.. Eden McCoy revealed that she knew for months that her character Josslyn Jacks would shoot Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and that Dex heller (Evan Hofer) would die.

It's possible that Brad Bell has not revealed to Clifton what will happen with Liam but McCook knew his character would not die. While waiting fans came up with their own theories and spoilers put out false projections. On Days of Our Lives fan favorite Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) died of a brain tumor but was later brought back to life.

B&B fans want to know

B&B does not offer sensational fantasy storylines so if Liam dies he will be dead and gone. How will viewers get through this as they consider the possibilities? Anyone expecting Liam to die will be filled with emotion as this storyline ebbs and flows. They will hold out hope for a cure while preparing themselves for the worst case snherio.

Others who are convinced that Liam, like Eric will live will not become emotionally invested and if their theory is right will simply say "Told you so." Clifton saying he does not know his character's fate and is not considering a GH return coud be absolutely accurate. This could possibly be a smoke screens because Scott is under a gag order.

Those who enjoy The Bold and the Beautiful can only watch and wait to learn what happens or check back in a month or so to learn if their prediction was accurate.
