Spoilers for THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS have been teasing that Phyllis will attack Sally during the Newman launch party. The manner of the confrontation has been now been revealed and the photo confirms that Ms. Summers will dump a bucket of ice on her enemy's head. What was not clear until now is what leads ups to this physical altercation and viewers have had their own ideas.

Phyllis is still angry that Summer is staying in Italy and wants revenge on the woman who initiated the situation. She is also fuming because her fellow redhead told Nick that she was spending too much time with Jack. Fans of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS have been wondering what Phyllis will do for an encore after exposing Tara and Sally's scheme to get rid of her daughter. No one wanted to see her fade into the woodwork and it appears she will not, at least not anytime soon.

Ms. Summers does not know how to function unless she has someone who is the object of her ire. For a while, it was Billy after she found out he slept with Summer. Next, it was trying to find out the secret between Chance and Adam. After that, it was sparring with Abby and Victoria when they all were vying for The Grand Phoenix.

Now Sally Spectra is public enemy number one and she will face all the wrath that Phyllis has to give. It's not clear if the relationship with Nick will be messed up with because Phyllis falls for Jack again as both are dealing with loss at this time. Kyle and Summer's departure has hit their families hard but Phyllis and Jack seem more troubled than Nick or anyone else.

It could be they are kindred spirits and nothing more but because of Sally's comments, Nick will question Phyllis about her feelings for her ex. It seems as if the two redheads are going tit for tat after both promised to settle down. Jack asked Phyllis to be the bigger person and Adam told Sally to be a successful businesswoman rather than plotting revenge. Both women no doubt had every intention of doing the right thing but once they see each other face to face all bets are off.

Once Phyllis sees Sally arrive at the gala on Adam's arm it will be too much for her and she will not be able to contain herself. She warned Adam about his new hire to which he responded that Sally and Phyllis seem to act alike. Looking at her two enemies gloating right in her face will prove to be too much for Ms. Summers to handle so she will respond in her usual way. Spoilers say she will decide to confront Sally and tell her to take her circus act elsewhere.

This is when the trouble begins but it is not Phyllis who gets physical first. Ms. Spectra will not like this woman in her face on her big night. In addition, she sees nothing wrong with her actions because Summer and Kyle are happy and Phyllis has become too involved in her ex-husband's personal life. Sally is going to become so infuriated that she will throw a glass of water in the face of her nemesis. This is why she gets the bucket of ice poured all over her.

Adam and Nick and perhaps Jack will have their hands full with these two and from the looks of that photo, Sally will probably have to make an early exit. Adam may end up getting blamed because he brought Sally to the launch party as his plus one. It's looking like Phyllis will be spending her time seeking ways to make everyone see how evil Sally is and will justify hr own actions. This is probably just the beginning of the feud and who knows what will happen next? Be sure to tune in to THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and watch the fireworks.
