Gibson portrayed Noah Newman on The Young and the Restless from 2021 to 2023 and was in Rebel Moon Part One: A Child of Fire in 2023. Michael has unfinished business in Port Charles

The character cannot remain hospitalized indefinitely, and Michael needs to recover from his burns and return to Genoa City. He needs to handle his divorce and confront Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Drew paid a nurse at the German clinic to lie that Michael did not want to see Willow, so this needs to come to light.
