WWE Crown Jewel Perth Predictions by NWO Sparrow

WWE Crown Jewel Perth is going down this Saturday live from Perth, Australia. This will be the second WWE premium live event to air on the ESPN app, which is another big step for the company’s global reach. Now, let me be honest with you all. This card is not the best booked show we have seen this year. Two matches feel like preliminary throw-ins, one of the so-called big matches has had little to no real build, another feels penciled in at the last second, and one more match looks like it has no true direction.
That does not mean the show will be a wash. The matches on paper can all deliver. It is just the storytelling heading into the event that has not lived up to the hype. In fact, I am more intrigued by the angles that did not even make the card. CM Punk’s situation on Raw, the fallout between Jey and Jimmy Uso, LA Knight’s push, and anything Drew McIntyre is doing on SmackDown has my attention far more than some of what is advertised here. That being said, this is still a WWE stadium event. Surprises can happen, and moments can sneak up on us when we least expect them.
For those who have followed my work, you already know my prediction record speaks for itself. Did you catch my last article covering WWE Wrestlepalooza? I went 5-0 once again. That means I am not just writing these pieces for fun, I am here to put you on and guide you through how these shows will most likely play out. With that said, here is how I see WWE Crown Jewel shaking out.
Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins ( Crown Jewel Championship)

This is the fourth official singles match in their rivalry, and to be honest, at first I thought it was running out of gas. But Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins are both masters at making a story feel bigger than what it looks like on paper. Every time they lock up, they find a way to make it matter. Rollins still has the charisma, and Rhodes has become one of the most consistent main event performers in the world. The action will be sharp, the sequences will be exciting, and the near falls will pull fans right out of their seats. Cody already holds a 3-0 lead over Rollins in their singles meetings, and I do not see that streak breaking in Perth. I predict Cody Rhodes wins and becomes a two-time Crown Jewel Champion. Expect a strong closing stretch, a few close calls for Rollins, and another reminder that this is Cody’s time to shine.
Stephanie Vaquer vs. Tiffany Stratton (Women’s Crown Jewel Championship )

WWE is firmly behind Stephanie Vaquer right now. You can see it in how she is booked, how commentary frames her, and how her presence has grown since coming over to Raw. Tiffany Stratton is a star in her own right, but this particular match is not designed to elevate her. It is about cementing Vaquer as the next marquee champion in the women’s division. Stratton will have her moments, she always does. The match will be flashy and fun, but Vaquer is carrying too much momentum for WWE to cool her down now. I predict Stephanie Vaquer wins and leaves Crown Jewel as the Women’s Crown Jewel Champion. Stratton’s time and moment is still here in the present but this night belongs to Vaquer.
John Cena vs. AJ Styles

On paper, this is a dream match revisited. In reality, it has little to no build going in. What makes this match special is that it is part of John Cena’s retirement tour, which means every stop feels like a big deal. With only five appearances left before Cena rides off into the sunset, every match is being treated like an event. This one has the potential to be a sleeper hit of the night. Styles is a pro’s pro, and Cena is making sure to go out on top. The match will cook, the crowd will love it, and in the end it does not matter who wins as much as it matters that we get to see it. But let’s be clear. I predict John Cena wins this match. Styles can take the loss, and the fans will walk away happy seeing Cena add another victory to his farewell run.
Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky vs. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane)

This is a tricky one. The Kabuki Warriors have already broken up once, so their return together feels temporary. At the same time, this does not feel like a long-term story for Rhea Ripley either. The question is, who really benefits from this outcome? If WWE wants to build Asuka back into a top-level heel, this is the perfect spot to let her shine again. Iyo Sky is just floating in this story, and Ripley has bigger fish to fry heading into the WrestleMania season. Because of that, I see this as more of a bridge match than anything with long-term weight. I predict Asuka and Kairi Sane win here, sparking tension between Rhea and Iyo. The story after the match may matter more than the result itself.
Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed ( Australian Street Fight )

Roman Reigns making a rare appearance always feels like a big deal, but this match has no real stakes attached to it. Reigns has already beaten Bronson Reed before, and another win will not really change much for either man. For Reed, it is another chance to prove he belongs on this stage. For Reigns, it is just about keeping momentum until a bigger challenge arrives. This has placeholder written all over it, which is fine, because Roman’s true story lies ahead. The match will have some hard-hitting moments, and Reed will get to look strong before ultimately falling to the Tribal Chief. I predict Roman Reigns wins here. Nothing shocking, nothing groundbreaking, just a way to keep the machine moving forward until it is time for Roman’s next big program.
Crown Jewel Perth might not be the hottest card WWE has put together this year, but that does not mean there will not be strong in-ring performances and surprises along the way. For every match that feels like it lacks direction, there is still the potential for the wrestlers to make the most of their time and turn it into something worth remembering.
The real interest will be in how the fallout plays out. What does Cody Rhodes holding another win over Seth Rollins mean for the Raw and SmackDown landscape? How does Stephanie Vaquer carrying the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship shape the women’s division moving forward? Will John Cena’s retirement tour give us fresh matchups with different legends and stars? These are the questions that make this event worth keeping an eye on.
So while this show might feel like it is missing the spark that other big WWE stadium shows have delivered, there is still plenty for fans to take away. The road to WrestleMania always starts with nights like this, and the unexpected often becomes the headline. I will be watching, I will be keeping score, and if my Wrestlepalooza predictions are any indicator, you know I will probably be right again.
