Newman Media bash causes problems in Genoa City on 'The Restless'

During the next two weeks on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, the residents of Genoa City will be dealing with the aftermath of the Newman Media launch party. There will be questions and concerns and people butting into the personal lives of others. There will be trouble all around and a domino effect as one situation affects another until everyone seems linked. The birth of Mariah's baby has united many town residents in a good way but Adam's big night will connect GC in a different way.

Adam's plan

Adam will show up with Sally on his arm which is sure to cause gasps and sighs. Victor Nikki, Phyllis and Nikki are still angry because Ms. Spectra is the reason Kyle and Summer left town. Adam is aware of what Sally has done but he can relate to her as a black sheep. Look for the bad boy Newman to be questioned by his family members on his choice of a date. Adam had been doing well and even getting along with Nick and Nikki. His brother is not going to like the fact that he has hired and might be sleeping with the woman who caused Summer so much pain.

Jealous Jack

Jack is the only person who wants bygones to be bygones and to leave the animosity in the past. Thanks to Sally he has lost his son, and his grandson as well as his COO, Jack wants everyone to move on and play nice but when he sees Sally with Adam his attitude will change. It is clear that the Abbott patriarch still is intrigued by the redhead and spoilers say he will feel some kind of way when he sees her with Adam. Jack and Victor's youngest son used to be pretty close but Sally may put some distance between them.

Adam is grown and can make his own choices but Sally Spectra has caused chaos for the Abbots and Newmans and the wounds are still fresh. Jack is missing Kyle, Harrison, and Summer and is also alone in the Jabot office. Now he must watch as the woman he was falling for who caused all the pain moving on with a new job and possibly a new man.

Phyllis attacks Sally

The one person who will be the most rattled at Sally Spectra's presence is Phyllis. She hates her fellow redhead with a passion but promised Jack she would try to play nice. Last week Sally told Nick that Jack and Phyllis are spending a lot of time together. This prompted Nicholas to ask the woman he loves a loaded question. He wanted to know if he were not in the picture if Phyllis would get together with Jack again?

Nick told her it was Sally who saw her with Jack and Phyllis will now be on the warpath. When she sees Ms. Spectra with Adam it will upset her that her two worst enemies have joined forces so to speak. She will also be angry that Sally got in her business and planted a seed of doubt in Nick's ear. When the two women come face to face at the launch party something will transpire and Phyllis will dump a bucket of ice on Sally's head.

Victor on the warpath

Victor is happy that Mariah has been found and that the baby was born without problems. His joy will be short-lived when he sees Adam show up to the gala with Sally on his arm. Victor will no doubt question his son and ask how he could do such a thing after all that Ms. Spectra has done to their family.

Chloe is frightened

Chloe is beginning to feel like she set a monster loose when she hired Sally. Instead of simply doing her job Ms. Spectra has decided that she will be the one Victoria hires to design her wedding gown. Chloe is bitterly against this and advised Sally this would never happen. She also warned Sally to be careful not to trust Adam and now here she is as his date.

Chloe will be frightened that things are going to end badly and she will be in the middle of it. It's sounding like the launch party will turn into a nightmare so be sure not to miss it. The aftermath of Maria's baby being born coupled with the events at the Newman gala will intertwine Genoa City residents in ways they did not count on so stay tuned.
