Motivational messages from Billy Graham may be AI-generated
The voice and subject matter are not aligned with the popular preacher's method.

Do my ears deceive me?
I saw a video on Facebook with an image of Evangelist Billy Graham. When I clicked on it, the voice sounded like Graham's, whom I had heard speak many times over five decades. As I continued to listen, I noticed the speech pattern seemed slightly artificial. There were no ebbs and flows or highs and lows. "Graham" also used phrases not utilized when he was traveling the world preaching.
Wording like declaring healing and decreeing healing is your portion sounded more like the words of modern-day Word of Faith motivational speakers. Billy Graham's voice spoke of the power of repetition, which comes from the name it claims, speak it into existence, and manifestation teaching.
The scriptures used are powerful, and many commenters shared that they were comforted and that their faith increased by listening. However, did Billy Graham ever preach these things, and were these messages taped while he was alive? Someone might say it doesn't matter because the video promotes God's word, but if deception was involved, then Houston, we have a problem because it's all a lie.
Billy Graham was a preacher, not a motivator
Billy Graham was not a motivational speaker. He preached the Gospel of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ; his sermons always ended with a call to salvation. You can listen to one of his actual sermons in the following video.
You will notice the slight difference in the voice. The voice patterns in the second video, which is an actual sermon from Graham, are vastly different than the first. Also, I never heard Graham specifically speak a message focused on healing only. I wonder if the message in 6 Powerful Psalms That Heal Any Disease is a deception generated through artificial intelligence.
The title is misleading as the caption below lists 3 Psalms, and that is all that is mentioned. Also, the video promises that "any disease" will be healed, as if the Psalms are a magic spell that works if you say them often enough. Faith is not the same as casting a spell. This is the way people talk within Word of Faith and Charismatic churches.
Notable differences
The second half of the title is telling. It says Best Motivational Speech for Healing, & Faith, and again, I say the Reverend Billy Graham preached the Gospel. He was not a motivational speaker. Most telling is the wording that states this powerful motivational speech was inspired by Billy Graham. "Inspired By" is not the same as saying this is a sermon from Billy Graham on a specific date at a certain location.
If it was actually Graham speaking, there is no need to say the message was inspired. Also the wording "The word works when you work the word" is modern lingo that I never heard in a sermon preached by Billy Graham.
It's my opinion, and I could be wrong, that AI generated Graham's voice because he was a respected faith leader. crea I believe this and other videos were created so that people would desire to listen because of how well thought of the late preacher.
Artificial Intelligence can be deceiving
A few months back, a video was making the rounds on Facebook of a little blind girl on America's Got Talent. The child was Jamaican American, but she sounded like the voice my grandchildren use when they make character images on YouTube.
My granddaughter is good at spotting AI, but she said it was difficult to determine with Graham's audio. I believe I confirmed that this audio of the late Reverend Graham was AI-generated when I listened to another video by Faithful Sermons. When Loved Ones Come into Your Dreams is not something that the late evangelist would have spoken on because he did not interpret dreams.
He also spoke against trying to contact deceased loved ones. Also, in this recording, the choice does not sound like him, although his image is on the cover. One might say it does not matter whose voice they are listening to because God's word speaks for itself, but will it bring forth healing based on a lie?
Is it real or Memorex?
Still, the person behind the video should have used his or her voice rather than capitalize on Billy Graham's popularity, reducing him from the greatest evangelist in modern times to a motivational speaker. AI has generated the voice and image of Justin Bieber singing a song he never recorded.
This brought back a memory from many decades ago. There was a television commercial about Memorex cassettes that were so clear and realistic that the question was asked, "Is it real (a live singer) or Memorex (a taped voice).
Discernment is necessary because technology is becoming more advanced, and it's important to know what is authentic and what is fake in this Artificial Intelligence-driven society we live in. The most compelling reason these videos are fake is that Billy Graham probably never one in his 99 years said, "Like or subscribe to my channel" as in the above video.
