A new Noah on The Young and the Restless
The Young and the Restless fans have been wondering whether Noah Newman will recover from his car crash injuries or if Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will lose another child. Deadline reports that Lucas Adams will appear as Noah when the bandages are removed.
Adams' last portrayed Tripp Dalton Johnson on Days of Our Lives, and he is the second actor to crossover from Salem to Genoa City. Billy Flynn, who played Chad Dimera on Days, is now Cane Ashby on Y&R.
Soap actors swap daytime dramas
Other recent soap changes are Conner Floyd, who left his role as Chance Chancellor on The Young and the Restless and will soon be portraying Chad on Days of Our Lives. Daniel Goddard, who originated the role of Cane, is now Professor Henry Dalton on General Hospital. Tamara Braun played Tripp's mother, Ava Vitali on DOOL, is now playing Sienna on Y&R.
Several actors have played Noah Newman over the years, including Rory Gibson, who currently plays Michael Corinthos on General Hospital. Robert Adamson played Noah and was a recast for Michael on GH several times for Chad Duell.
The last time Noah was seen in Genoa City was in 2023, before he moved to the UK with Allie Nguyen (Kelsy Wang). Lucas Y&R loved Allie and Noah as a couple when Gibson was in the role. Now that a different actor has the part the character may be taken in a different direction.
Will Allie return to Genoa City?
Sharon mentioned Ms. Nguyen her on Thursday but there is nothing has been said about the character returning. Allie is Jack Abbott's (Peter Bergman) granddaughter and she would be welcome back into the family mansion.
With Noah being recast there is no doubt that he will return to Genoa City with his parents. Some fans wonder if this will lead to a Nick and Sharon reunion and only time will tell.
Lucas Adams additional acting credits
Adams is no stranger to Genoa City, as he portrayed a character named Wesley for one episode on Y&R in 2012. He has also appeared in the television shows True Blood, Little Princesses, Dexter and Recover Road.
He had roles in the films Wolves at the Door and American Pie: Girls Rule, and the television films The Great Halloween Puppy Adventure and Kidnapped by a Classmate.
When he first moved to LA from Texas, Adams said he experienced culture shock. His town had one stop light and no crosswalks. His sister helped him obtain a job at U-Haul.
He landed a Toyota commercial soon after and then came his one day stint on Y&R. He met his wife Shelby Wulfert when they both were on Liv and Maddie. They began dating inn 2015, became engaged in 2021 and married in 2022.
When will the new Noah be seen?
Lucas Adams will debut on The Young and the Restless as Noah on November 4th. Hopefully fans will have some answers before then. On Thursday, a police officer informed Nick and Sharon that their son's vehicle may have been run off the road, so they are investigating.
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) came to Genoa City trying to win Noah back by telling him she had miscarried his child. She also gave Allie a hard time and tried to break them up. Audra continues to be a manipulator so who knows how she will respond to her ex coming home.
Would she seek to rekindle a romance with him once he returns and is fully recovered? Stay tuned for updates to learn what happens next and continue watching the Genoa City drama on CBS.
