Long-Lost Heroes and Titles Return in Marvel's December 2017 Solicitations
December is usually a time for friends and family to come together drink hot chocolate and celebrate the holiday season. However, the House of Ideas’ greatest characters will be celebrating the holidays by welcoming back long-lost heroes and titles as 2017 comes to a close. GEEKS has the inside scope on the storylines that True Believers should keep an eye and perhaps request these stories for their stocking stuffers.

Movie Review: 'Shot'
The new-in-theaters drama Shot starring Noah Wyle and Sharon Leal may look like a very special episode of a TV drama but it’s a very effective very special episode of a TV drama. This anti-gun message movie, which does also play like an 87-minute public service announcement at times, nevertheless does have a valuable message. The shooting style may not blow you away but the performances are solid and the message is potent.

Best Netflix Prison Shows
Orange Is the New Black is one of the best Netflix prison shows to ever air, and it's catapulted a number of highly talented actresses into fame. Unfortunately, there are only so many episodes of any Netflix Original series... and that can leave fans wanting for more while they wait for next season.

The Unauthorized Full House Story
This is hopefully the last time I review an "unauthorized" story. I feel like they are just trying to tell a scandalous story with these, but what it is, is a cheap attempt to cash in on a popular show. Luckily for this one it's only slightly better than the Saved by the Bell one in that it doesn't focus on one person's side of the story. The down side: the acting and the set is way worse. When I pressed play I expected to see somewhat of a look into Bob Saget's best stand up comedy, Dave Coulier dating, Alanis Morissette and John Stamos having better hair.

There's No River, But It Looks Windy. 'Wind River': A Review
I went to Wind River last week with very little idea of what it was actually about other than the trailer, which was pretty vague in its detail except the movie is clearly introduced as a thriller. Not knowing completely what to expect and based off a recommendation, I went last week to have some cineplex food for supper and to check out this flick. I'll try to keep the spoilers to a minimum and just comment on the most notable parts (in my opinion) of it without giving it away!

Celebrating 30 Years of The Princess Bride
The Princess Bride is one of the most rewatchable movies in history. This rich, robust, and homey comedy never ages and never falters. Rob Reiner’s direction, aside from a truly terrible film score, is unassailable in every comedy beat. Then there is the absolutely perfect casting. Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, Mandy Patinkin, Andre the Giant, and each of the supporting players, from Chris Sarandon as the evil Prince, Christopher Guest as the evil six-fingered henchman, and Billy Crystal’s cameo as Miracle Max, could not be better.

Men Like Kevin Hart Don't Need Fame
We're all up to speed about Mr. Hart's infidelity, or at least we should be. According to TMZ, Kevin Hart is reportedly being extorted by an alleged other woman for the release of a "sexually suggestive" video involving himself and a Puerto Rican Instagram model. This video has since been released. Back in July, there was video footage of himself and the woman talking to her from the backseat. The clip seemed as though there may have been some lip locking but was never confirmed. Kevin Hart and his pregnant wife barely responded to it and were shown together at events and posting videos dancing as if nothing ever happened, until now.
