Why the Graphic Depictions of Bullying in '13 Reasons Why' Are Necessary for Viewers
If you managed to make it through the Netflix original series 13 Reasons Why, then you're no doubt a little shaken up. After all, it's a show about a girl who leaves cassette tapes behind to tell those whom she feels are responsible for her suicide why she did it. The subject matter alone is a powerful thing, and many people who read the 2007 novel by Jay Asher wondered how Netflix would visually represent the story.

The Tale of 2 GH Fanbases
"You want the fans to feel something, even if it's anger, it means they are watching!" Anthony Geary, General Hospital's (arguably) most famous alum once said. It seems that those words are echoing around the writer's room these days, as the so-called "Tale of Two Jasons" gets going. The story has fans of the show divided into two camps; the "Billy Miller is Jason" camp and "Steve Burton is the only Jason" camp. By the logic of Mr. Geary, the writers have succeeded in their job, right? Maybe. But writing a soap opera is more involved than making people feel something.

'Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle' Review
Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle is a 2017 action film with a bit of a James Bond vibe. In the movie, the Kingsman are a group of secret government agents who are sworn to protect the world from evil. They use code names based off King Artur characters, giving them a bit of historical class. In most situations, they handle some of the most dangerous and difficult missions which require special training and skills.

Film Writing
We all love watching movies. We pay to go see them in theaters, buy the DVDs and Blu-rays of them, they are a good excuse to sit back, eat popcorn, and relax. But have you ever tried writing the script for a film? It is a lot harder of a process than people think. You need to come up with a full plot, list of characters, different scenes, basically you have to create a full movie. I have written quite a few, and I will try to give those of you that are interested in this topic tips on how to make script writing a bit easier.

The Overvoid Monitor
Literature is a creation of the human intelligence, a formulation of eminent genius, a construct of reality through the progressing of story. Comic book fiction is a storyboard, imprinted on the blank page, that attempts to create reality; behind illustration, balloons, words, and inking, the process of imagination takes place, through which is granted a window into the real, that which exists, and an insight into its history. Inherently, the comic book is an experience into mythology, it adeptly brings together the pseudo-scientific and the religious, the mystical and the metaphysical in a universe of possibility, a multiverse in fact, that determines the primary law that is the foundation of all existence: all that exists is a story that is created, evolving, and in the process of design. Art transcends the story into the mythical, the mythological, the expression of the will to power hidden in a natural force that seeks to dominate and extend its rule over its environment — the cosmos. Is that then the purpose of all life: to rule, to dominate, and perhaps to attain to an omnipotence that is really the desire for personality revealed in its universality and its exactness of thought?
