(Warning - Spoilers for Spider-Man: Homecoming to follow) Spider-Man: Homecoming has finally hit theatres to tremendous applause with a current 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. I just got back from the theatres and my inital thoughts are that this was such a different take on Spider-Man but also #superheroes as a whole. This was essentially a young adult take on the web-slinger and I loved it!

Over the past weekend, we were treated to tons of footage and promotional images coming out of San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). From the reveal of Hulk's gladiator armor in Thor: Ragnarok to the huge display for Justice League, (SDCC) really brought it this year. There was no shortage of footage, we were even treated to footage from the upcoming seasons of The Flash and Arrow; both great television series based out of DC' Comics. But out of all the announcements coming out of (SDCC), we can't forget about the casting annoucement made for Black Panther (2018).

We all love a good versus fight - from Mortal Kombat to Super Smash Bros. Melee, there is nothing better than seeing two of your favorite characters duke it out on screen. The MCU is no exception, with this year's Captain America: Civil War arguably being one big battle. With most of the Avengers 'all duked out', there must be something more on the horizon though? Enter the 2012 comic-series Avengers vs. X-Men, which even already has its own fan trailer. The story opens a whole world of opportunities in cinema for Xavier's mutants to take on the mighty Avengers.
