My Thoughts About Jason David Frank
With his loyal fans on social media supporting him all the way, Power Rangers star Jason David Frank has a fanbase who's always on his side and devoted to him. Growing up, I loved his character, Tommy Oliver, and watching him on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The five part series, Green With Evil, was amazing and got to witness Tommy becoming the sixth Power Ranger. However, as I've gotten older, Jason's antics and attention seeking ways has turned me off. Let me be clear about a few things. I'm a huge Power Rangers fan. That's my fandom and will always show love and appreciation for the franchise. So whenever I see someone do something that's uncalled for or inappropriate, I'm not afraid to call them out. Just because I'm a Power Rangers fan, it doesn't mean I always have to like someone or agree with everything. I'm going to speak the truth and be brutally honest, whether you like it or not.

Comcast Should Keep Disney From Buying Fox. Top Story - June 2018.
Hallelujahs were called when news hit that Disney would buy Twentieth Century Fox. Just knowing that the Marvel Cinematic Universe would be complete led fanboys to rejoice. Disney also expressed their excitement for the other franchises Fox had. Though the merger wouldn't be finalized until another year, everyone could smell the roses and green grass.

'Rugrats' Is Shaping the Way for Young Girls
While a lot of children’s television may seem like nonsense, there may actually be some true gems hidden in the dust. A series I grew up watching was Rugrats. This show portrayed the lives of a group of babies and toddlers finding new adventures through their imagination. While the show is silly and cheesy, I realize now that this show actually kept some wonderful messages for children—especially young girls. After hearing that every Disney princess movie is a bad influence for young girls, I was happy to hear one of my childhood series was a keeper.

My Little Over-Analysis of 'Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters' Part 4: Episode 3 "Journey to the Duelist Kingdom"
After the pleasant but slow set up of the first two episodes, one would have expected this one to take off exactly where the second one left off and jump straight into the Duelist Kingdom Tournament. Therefore, the decision to give us yet another set-up episode—this time without a single card game and with the notable absence of the show's poster boy Atem—might seem a bit odd.

'Reflection: A Twisted Tale'
I'm an avid reader, often looking for books that are a little different and sometimes out of my comfort zone. The last book I finished is called Reflection: A Twisted Tale by Elizabeth Lim. This is the latest in a series of Twisted Tale novels released by Disney all about some of our favorite Disney films but with a new spin. What made this one so interesting is that unlike As Old as Time, this particular book made a drastic twist in the tale of Mulan.

Life Lessons from Magical Girls
If you've ever been on the Internet around someone in their early to mid-twenties, chances are you've heard the term "adulting" tossed around. The word is used to describe any task in an adult's life that is difficult, undesirable, or otherwise noteworthy to anyone who is newly an adult: "I had to do some serious adulting today: I called the bank, made a doctor's appointment, and gave a presentation at work." Typically, when someone talks about "adulting", it's with a sense of abhorrence or dismay. "Adulting sucks. I'd rather curl up in a blanket, eat a bowl of cereal, and watch some anime." Who hasn't been there, right?

Stopping By Stars Hollow: A Critic’s First Watch of 'Gilmore Girls' - Season 2, Episode 7
Father’s Day has come and gone, and regardless of whether or not you have a father figure in your life… I hope you had a good day. I hope you always have a good day. I, for father’s day, made a giant meal: a roast, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, biscuits, two types of vegetables, and (for the grand finale) a large Miami Beach cake. This meal was made as a surprise, so most of the cooking was done late at night, and I’m very tired.

6 Toys From the 90's That Should Come Back With Today's Technology
The 1990's were a radical time full of radical toys. Kids of that era might have loved what they had, but by today's standards, it's obvious just how little that was. With a little bit of today's know-how, those forgotten, nostalgic pieces of plastic could come right back and wow everybody like that former scrawny nerd turning heads at a high school reunion.

'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle' Review
“An adventure for those who seek to find a way to leave their world behind.” What kind of memories does this quote invoke? Incredible sorrow or maybe heartthrob of wishing the years could rewind? I, for one, know that this movie absolutely knocked me out my seat when I first saw the original Jumanji.

Illiterature: Uncultured Readers or Merely Born in a New Era?
Do you ever open a book of classic literature, something renowned in the literary canon, and feel your jaw slowly sag...your eyes start pacing...and your mind begin spinning in circles as though you are suddenly reading a different language?
